"Nothing changed": My Korean Boyfriend star Luanny talks to Si Won about things not progressing as planned

My Korean Boyfriend Episode 1 saw Luanny going on a date with her boyfriend, Si Won. They talked about telling his family about her daughter, finances, things not going as per their plans, and more.

One of the things they discussed was how things were not moving forward as they had planned. Luanny wasn't happy about it. She noted that they made plans in their minds but didn't do anything about them.

She felt as if they were moving backwards. She also told Si Woon about talking to his parents about her daughter.

"I think we made plans...in our minds, but we didn't...do anything to make them happen. We just made promoses and promises. But nothing changed. And sometimes I just feel like we're just moving backwards, because we just promise and don't do anything. And I don't want to spend so much time living away from each other, because it's hard for me too," said Luanny.

My Korean Boyfriend's Si Won had a few surprises for Luanny during their date. He gave her flowers after they met. Later, he also sang a song for her in Portuguese. Luanny told Si Woon about her daughter and that it was time to share that with his family.

"Well, your family doesn't know that I have a daughter. And I think we've reached the point where we have to talk about it. We can't hide it anymore, right?" said Luanny.

He agreed with her. Si Woon added that the first step was to introduce Luanny to his parents. After that, they would also talk about her daughter, Alya, with them. He said that it wouldn’t be long until that.

Si Woon told her that he would try harder to make their dreams come true. However, Luanny shared that she was scared. He asked her about it.

"The fact...that you spend money. That's what I'm scared of. That it hasn't stopped," replied Luanny.

He told her that he was well aware of that. Si Woon told her that he would stop. When she asked him to swear, he told her that he would quit, starting from that moment.

However, Luanny told him no. She recalled that he had told her that before, but he was still doing it. The My Korean Boyfriend star asked him about it. Her boyfriend said that he would be honest. He was still doing it, but he was going to stop it.

"I am doing it, yeah. But I was...trying to keep it under control. And...If I really care about our future, I should call it quits. So. From now on, I promise I will always follow your advice. I mean that. Do you trust me?" said Si Woon.

Luanny told him no and got emotional. He asked her what he could do to make her trust him. She said that she would go and talk to his mother. She felt that if she didn't talk to his family, then he wouldn't change.
