"Nothing wrong with a little duct tape": Storage Wars star Lisa responds to Dusty's comments while bidding $425 on a locker

Storage Wars Season 16 Episode 8 was released on August 2, 2025. A recent episode of the reality show titled The INKredible Mr. Calvin saw interesting bids on various storage units.

During one of the biddings, Lisa won with the highest bid, $425. After that, Dusty commented about duct tape boxes, which she also responded to.

That particular storage unit contained various storage boxes packed with duct tape. Referring to them, Dusty mentioned that Lisa would get to learn about duct tape boxes.

Listening to Dusty's comments, Storage Wars star Lisa responded to the cameras:

"There's nothing wrong with a little duct tape. Dusty should try some...on his mouth."

Episode 8 of the A&E show featured Dusty sharing his views on various bids and fellow cast members. Throughout the episode, fans saw him commenting on various situations, bids, and more, which wasn't received well by others.

One of the comments he made was about Lisa. It was when she bid on a storage locker and won with the highest bid, $425.

Storage Wars Episode 8 saw many interesting bids on storage units. One of the 5x10 storage lockers was next up for the bidding. Interested bidders took a look around to see what they could expect from it. Dusty was the first one to inspect.

"Let's see here. This looks like a lot of clothing. Older table set. When they duct tape boxes, it's usually a big red flag. I do see a brand-new toy, and there's a jewelry box. I'm leaning. This is a 50/50," said Dusty.

Fellow cast member Kenny Crossley saw the items in the storage and said it was "old lady furniture." He also saw a bed, an old maple-wood dresser, and many other things.

"Hatboxes often carry jewelry. Got a couple purses down there. Might be name brand. Well, maybe I'll get lucky," added Kenny.

Soon, Lisa arrived to inspect the storage locker. She said there was some stuff that she liked. She noted a secretary table with "retro vibes" and a mattress.

Further in the episode, the bid started with $50. Interested bidders, including Ivy, Lisa, Dusty, Kenny, and more, went through the bidding war. After a few bids, Lisa was the highest bidder, $425.

However, seeing Lisa winning that bid, fellow Storage Wars cast member Dusty said:

"Lisa gets to learn about duct tape boxes. Yay!"

Lisa's reply was that there was nothing wrong with duct tape, and that Dusty should try some on his "mouth."
