"One of my favorite shows ever": Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? features Kaitlan Collins sharing her passion for the game

The latest Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? episode aired on September 3, 2025. Celebrity contestants, including Kaitlan Collins-Jake Tapper, and Mike Birbiglia-Atsuko Okatsuka attended the game show.

While Kaitlan's supported charity was Muddy Paws Rescue, Jake's choice of the organization was Homes For Our Troops. Their winnings from the game show would be given to them.

Before entering the game show, Kaitlan and Jake opened up about how they prepared to win. She mentioned that it was her "favorite" show ever. Kaitlan said:

"And I grew up watching Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. I loved it when Regis (Philbin) hosted the show. It's one of my favorite shows ever. So, I'm very familiar with the program."

The latest Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Season 4 episode saw four more celebrity contestants: Kaitlan Collins, Jake Tapper, Mike Birbiglia, and Atsuko Okatsuka.

Before entering the show and seeing host Jimmy Kimmel, Kaitlan and Jake opened up about their preparation and love for the game. While sharing that, the duo also talked about how they knew each other, and more. Jake Tapper said:

"We're good friends. I really respect her. And we are different ages and from different parts of the country and have different interests."

Kaitlan added that Jake had "weird knowledge." She was hoping that he could use that to help them succeed.

When asked about how they prepared before coming on to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Kaitlan responded that she had been searching for random questions on the internet. Kailan said:

"I was googling like, What's the longest river in the world? What are the top 5? I was just googling random geometry and geography."

Jake added that they have watched a lot of old episodes of the show. Kaitlan added that she grew up watching the show and that she loved it when Regis Philbin hosted the show. Hence, she was familiar with the program as well.

In another clip shared by the show's official Instagram on September 2, 2025. Jake and Kaitlin introduced themselves. While telling the viewers to tune into the show to watch the episode, Jake mentioned:

"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"

Kaitlin jumped right in and, pointing to themselves, she said:

"Us. Us."

While on the show, Kaitlan and Jake faced exciting questions. One of them was related to Chappell Roan and her songs. While the show host read out the question and four options, Kaitlan revealed that Jake was a "massive" Chappell Roan fan.

However, he said, he was an "old man." Jimmy said that Jake had a daughter in that age group, who would know about the song and the singer. Jake responded, saying:

"True. I do. I also have a partner in this age group."

He pointed to Kaitlan, asking her if she knew about the question and the songs mentioned. She knew those songs and had also been to the concert. Her chosen option was the correct one.
