The Traitors US Season 3 concluded on March 6, 2025, after the winners of the reality competition series were announced. Dylan Efron alongside Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania, Ivar Mountbatten, and former Bachelorette star Gabby Windey won more than $200,000 grand prize and the winner title.

During an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair on March 6, 2025, Dylan Efron opened up about his overall experience on the show. He also discussed Britney's banishment and mentioned that he suspected her of being a Traitor before her true identity was revealed. Efron said:

"That was definitely one of my most vulnerable points with that show. Britney’s calling me a Traitor, so I would’ve understood if [the other finalists] got rid of me, and I think that’s why I was so down to just end the game with the four of us."

The Traitors US winner Dylan Efron looks back on his game strategy

On The Traitors US finale episode Britney was the only remaining Traitor and had plans of gaining Gabby's trust. She wanted to earn Gabby's trust as she knew it wasn't in her best interest to go openly against a Faithful person and point fingers at someone. Meanwhile, Dylan Efron was suspicious of Britney being a Traitor and made sure to bring this up at the roundtable.

Soon suspicions about Gabby also increased with the majority thinking of her being a potential Traitor working alongside Britney. Reflecting on the moment when the four Faithfuls were remaining in the end, Efron explained the thought process behind his decision to vote out Britney. The Traitors US star was sure his fellow competitors were Faithful and encouraged them to unanimously decide to end the game and split the money.

As viewers already know, if one of the four players was a Traitor, the grand prize would be given to the Traitor and the Faithfuls would have lost the competition. Efron followed his intuition. During his conversation with Vanity Fair, he further elaborated:

"That moment in particular—when Gabby, Dolores and Ivar had my back—I just was like, “Dude, let’s finish together. I don’t want to be cutthroat. I don’t want to ruin any of your games. We won this together. I know you guys are Faithfuls.”'

Efron also talked about the Faithfuls getting eliminated initially when there were twenty-three players. After Boston Rob and Ciara Miller were sent home, Efron felt they were letting too many Faithfuls go. He stated:

"It felt like, “This is my time to take a back seat and listen,” because I obviously wasn’t on the Boston Rob boat. Then we voted out Ciara [Miller], which I didn’t want to do, and I was like, “Dude, I’d rather go home than just sit back and let Faithfuls go home.”

As per The Traitors US winner, it became easier to guess who was "mostly likely a Traitor" after players were down to ten people in total. He concluded:

"So after Ciara’s vote, we started playing the game of: Why are we still here? Playing that game for myself, I realized Danielle was most likely a Traitor."

The Traitors US Season 3 finale and reunion episodes are available to stream exclusively on Peacock TV.
