Only Murders in the Building to change its iconic hotel location for Season 6

Only Murders in the Building might be moving away from the iconic Arconia building in Season 6. Even though the show is yet to premiere with the Season 5 finale or be renewed for Season 6, reports suggest that the crime-solving trio might be making their way out of New York and the Arconia.

The podcasting trip has long been settled in New York and the Arconia, except for their Hollywood stint back in Season 4. The Arconia and its history are more than just a location for the show. The Arconia, in a way, defines the show. The building and its history bound the three of them and Only Murders in the Building together.

According to reports from Deadline, Charles, Mabel, and Oliver might be taking their crime-solving podcast out of New York and straight to a new continent.

The crime-solving trio might move out of the Arconia in Only Murders in the Building Season 6

The murder mystery from Hulu gains a lot of its charm from the elegant, historic, and mysterious building referred to in the title, Only Murders in the Building. From being the place where Mabel meets Charles and Oliver to becoming the harboring ground for the murder investigations, the Arconia has been a constant. However, that might change in the sixth season.

Granted, the show has not yet been renewed for another season. We're only a few hours away from finding out who killed the sweet old doorman of the Arconia building. Considering the popularity of Only Murders in the Building, the star-studded ensemble, and the chemistry between the trio, it's only a matter of time before a renewal confirmation is announced.

As per reports from Deadline, Only Murders in the Building is set to leave the Arconia, New York, and, in fact, the country behind and come up with a new international location for the very first time. Sources suggest that the Selena Gomez starrer is set to move to Europe. Why or how this move will be introduced into the show is not clear as of now.

Since Only Murders in the Building is known to set the upcoming season in the finale of its predecessor, one can expect the reported transatlantic move to be referred to in the finale episode of Season 5. Europe and its classical and historical influence could turn out to be a great change of pace for Mabel, Charles, and Oliver. However, the homely feeling of Arconia and New York is sure to be missed in this transatlantic move.
