What’s known about Outlander: Blood of My Blood Episode 4

Starz has so far kept the plot details under wraps, but all indicators point to an emotional payoff, with the two central story strands, those of Jamie Fraser and Claire Beauchamp and their parents, moving forward.

Based on trailers and official previews, it seems that the new episode will continue to weave the romance between Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser established in the 18th century, with rival love stories between Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp in the period surrounding World War I.

According to recent episode breakdowns, Julia and Brian may be working together in some aspect, and a message from Brian is most likely going to reach Ellen, which could prove to be a turning point in their relationship.

About the show: Outlander: Blood of My Blood

Outlander: Blood of My Blood is a prequel to the TV series of the long-running hit Outlander. The show dwells on the background of Jamie Fraser and Claire Beauchamp by discussing the two love stories of their parents. It interlaces two big chronologies:

Eighteenth-century Scotland: Traces the story of Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater), Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy), and their complicated relationships with family, love, and the danger-filled period in time, culminating in the Jacobite uprisings.

World War I England: It follows the romance of Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) as they fall in love during World War I in the city of London, through the war and postwar periods.

The show kicked off its first season with ten episodes, dropping the first two on August 8, 2025, over on Starz. Not even a full month in, and Starz already gave it the thumbs-up for a second season.

What makes it pop is the period theme and the story jumping across timelines. Feels super Outlander with all that heart-tugging drama and emotional chaos. And the time travel shenanigans are still in full swing, putting together the Fraser and Beauchamp family drama.
