Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8 is titled Maxine Hits the Slopes. It dropped on December 31, 2025.
This Episode is the second-to-last of the season, and it pulls the story out of sunny Palm Beach and puts everyone in the snowy Alps. After everything blew up in Episode 7, Maxine (Kristen Wiig), Douglas (Josh Lucas), and Mitzi (Kaia Gerber) all head for Switzerland. They are after assets tied to Norma’s (Carol Burnett) mysterious hideout, and nobody is just in it for the skiing.
The heart of Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8 is this: the Palm Beach elite show up in Switzerland, all eyes on the Dellacorte trust, convinced they are about to secure their fortunes. But things don’t go according to plan. Instead, everyone gets swept up in betrayals, family secrets spill out, and the stakes turn life-or-death.
Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8 recap: Maxine Hits the Slopes

With the season wrapping up, Palm Royale ditches the Palm Beach glamour and jets off to the Swiss Alps. Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8 is a total circus. Secrets are flying everywhere, everyone’s masks slipping, and the Dellacorte money turns into a ticking time bomb.
We kick off in full luxury chaos: private jet, champagne, and Maxine running the show. She has a random crew in tow: Douglas, Mitzi, Dinah, Perry, Virginia, and Ann. It’s supposed to be all about “saving Robert,” or so Maxine claims, but let’s be real, she is hustling to snatch the Dellacorte trust for her kid. Nobody is there for the sightseeing.
Mitzi is still pissed at Maxine for faking her own death. Douglas is trying to crawl back into Maxine’s good graces, hinting they should reunite once the baby is born. And then there’s Evelyn, frazzled after hooking up with Jed behind Eduardo’s back. She is calling this trip a second honeymoon, but she is scheming to push Maxine out of her life and business in Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8.
On the flight, Maxine immediately spots Eduardo’s brand-new, way-too-expensive watch, and just like that, she knows Evelyn has been up to no good.
Meanwhile, Robert is on a winning streak in Switzerland. He admires a massive portrait of himself (Norma had it commissioned), and he is now officially part of the Dellacorte clan. But here’s the odd bit: Norma is MIA. It makes you wonder what sort of crazy scheme she is cooking up this time.
So, at their hotel, the gang runs into Lotte at the front desk. She drops the news that the whole town is overrun because of Krampus weekend. Lotte starts telling a wild story about Frampus, Krampus’s mistress, who got torched by his wife and somehow ended up as the poster child for anger and vengeance. The way she tells it, it sounds like a dark fairy tale, but it hits way too close to home. It’s a slap in the face about how women always get the short end of the stick while guys walk away whistling.

On the other hand, in Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8, Maxine’s master plan at the Swiss bank blows up. She thought she could come in and grab the Dellacorte trust money, but she isn’t even allowed to sign for it. Turns out, only Linda, Douglas’s ex, can touch it, because Maxine’s name is nowhere on the paperwork.
But Maxine doesn’t quit, ever. She is already scheming up Plan B. She ropes in some flight attendants to sneak Linda out of Palm Beach and sends Evelyn on a wild goose chase for Linda’s Swiss birth records. Maxine twists Evelyn’s arm into signing a partnership deal. She promises to bail out the Palm Royale from its IRS nightmare, but only if she gets her cut of the spoils.
Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8 rapidly spirals into overlapping betrayals. Evelyn corners Mitzi about Jed being the father of her baby and demands half the cash, but Mitzi already promised all the money to Maxine.
Jed, meanwhile, is freaking out and tells Mitzi to take out Evelyn, since he is terrified his scam is about to get exposed.
Dinah is chasing that Fabergé egg, but she ends up finding a stack of letters that might actually prove Norma killed Axel. So, not what she wanted, but talk about plot twist potential.
Ann has to spell it out for Virginia. She is after equality, not a romantic relationship. Lotte got the wrong idea and thought they were a couple.
Elsewhere, Douglas and Robert get into it over some matching jackets. It somehow escalates into a brawl, and Robert, who is apparently a Marine, easily overpowers Douglas and Perry. After all that testosterone, the guys swap jackets, completely unaware that they have just handed off Axel’s damning letters to Robert.
But here’s the real bombshell of Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8: Lotte opens a secret painted door and drops her whole deal. She is actually Charlotte Moriarty. And “Norma” is really her daughter, Agnes. Turns out, back in the day, society just erased women who broke the rules. Lotte got buried under another name, literally and figuratively.
And “Norma”, a.k.a. Agnes, has her own twisted plan: if Mitzi marries Robert, she is claiming Mitzi’s baby for herself.

Later, Maxine and Douglas sneak into Robert’s room, recover Axel’s letters, and bolt into the snowy mountains right in the middle of the Frampus broom-burning ritual. They stumble across Agnes’s gravestone, which confirms that the real Norma has been dead for ages. Agnes has been living as her dead sister all this time. Right there is Charlotte Moriarty’s grave, too. It is just a bleak reminder of how society used to crush any woman who dared to step out of line.
Back at the festivities, Evelyn is finally about to reveal her secret to Eduardo, except she blurts out that Mitzi is pregnant instead. Eduardo totally loses it, calls Evelyn a snake, ditches his ring, and storms off. Their marriage is probably over.
Meanwhile, Dinah and Eduardo end up on the ski slopes together, and they kind of click. Perry catches wind and flips out, accusing Dinah of being unfaithful. Mitzi, in the middle of all this chaos, grabs a moment alone with Eduardo, and there’s just enough chemistry to raise eyebrows.
Now, Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8 hits you with three wild cliffhangers:
First up, Douglas collapses after drinking schnapps offered by Lotte, then clutches his chest and drops. Poison? Panic attack? Is this the infamous Frampus curse in action? Who knows, but it’s dramatic.
Meanwhile, Evelyn gets swept up by a gust of wind, crashes into the Frampus festivities, covered head-to-toe in soot. She steals the show in the worst possible way.
And then there’s Robert. He is busy burning Axel’s letters in the fireplace, thinking he is covering his tracks, but Maxine has already seen a letter from a kid calling him “Dad.”
That last shot of Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8, completely flips your idea of Robert. The innocent act doesn’t look so innocent. If he has a secret child, maybe this Dellacorte fortune mess isn’t about loyalty or drama, but rather about setting up his own legacy.
As the show heads toward its finale, Palm Royale Season 2 Episode 8 leaves everybody dangling. So who will win it all? We will know in the next episodes.
