Paradise Season 2 casts Patrick Fischler in a brand new role

Paradise Season 2, which got renewed in February 2025, less than a month after the show's release, has cast Patrick Fischler in a new role. Paradise premiered on Hulu on January 26, 2025, and followed the story of agent Xavier Collins of the United States Secret Service, who is trying to find out who killed the President of the United States three years after a Doomsday event.

As Deadline reports, Patrick Fischler is going to star in a recurring role in Paradise Season 2.

Paradise is set three years after a Doomsday event, in a bunker that is the size of a city. Survivors live in said bunker, but the President of the United States, Cal Bradford, is suddenly killed and Xavier Collins, who was head of the President's Secret Service security detail, is suspected. The show follows how Xavier clears his name while finding out the real killer.

Season 1 of Paradise ended with the revelation of who had killed the President and with Xavier setting out to look for his wife. As a lot of plotlines were left unfinished, Paradise Season 2 will bring in new characters and more challenges for Xavier. As Deadline reports, Patrick Fischler is going to be seen in a recurring role in Paradise Season 2. The name of the character hasn't been revealed, but as Deadline reports, Patrick Fischler's character is a

brilliant professor trying to balance his work with a quietly challenging personal life.

Patrick Fischler is an actor you might have seen in multiple shows and films. He is known for playing Pepe in Nash Bridges, Jimmy Barrett in Mad Men, Detective Kenny in Southland, Phil in Lost, A. Elliott Stemple in Suits, Isaac Heller in Once Upon a Time, Sidney Blumenthal in Impeachment: American Crime Story, among other roles.

Other actors joining Patrick Fischler in Paradise Season 2 are Thomas Doherty, Shailene Woodley, Michael McGrady, Timothy Omundson, Raymond Cham Jrz, and Ryan Michelle Bathé.

The main cast of Paradise includes Sterling K. Brown as Xavier Collins, Julianne Nicholson as Samantha Redmond, Sarah Shahi as Dr. Gabriela Torabi, Nicole Brydon Bloom as Agent Jane Driscoll, Aliyah Mastin as Presley Collins, Percy Daggs IV as James Collins, and James Marsden as President Cal Bradford.

The recurring cast for Paradise includes Jon Beavers as Agent William Pace, Krys Marshall as Nicole Robinson, Cassidy Freeman as First Lady Jessica Bradford, Gerald McRaney as Kane Bradford, Enuka Okuma as Dr. Teri Rogers-Collins, Richard Robichaux as Carl, Matt Malloy as Henry Baines, Charlie Evans as Jeremy Bradford, Ian Merrigan as Trent, and Michelle Meredith as Maggie.

Paradise is created by Dan Fogelman, who also serves as an executive producer along with Sterling K. Brown, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, and Steve Beers. The show is produced by Chris Nguyen-Gia and the production companies behind the show are Rhode Island Ave. Productions and 20th Television.

Paradise Season 2 began filming in March 2025, and will most likely be released in 2026.
