DC's favorite anti-hero, Peacemaker, is back with Peacemaker Season 2 and a brand new soundtrack, and with one episode already out, fans are already treating themselves to a new sonic playlist. The show is using the song Oh Lord by Foxy Shazam as its intro and will feature a video of John Cena as the titular character dancing with a deadpan look, along with his co-stars.

Gunn, known for his soundtrack and the recent success of the same for Superman, made sure to choose a catchy, iconic intro to set the tone for the series. As fans get ready for Peacemaker's new episode dropping soon, here are all the songs we've heard yet from the first episode.

The chaos is back as Peacemaker Season 2 crashes into the DC Universe with guns, sarcasm, and more multiverse mayhem than you can shake an eagle at. Picking up after Superman, John Cena’s jingoistic mercenary is on a mission: enforce peace, wreak havoc, and somehow keep his life together. James Gunn returns as showrunner, blending absurd humor, pulse-pounding action, and surprisingly tender character moments that keep the series from just being a punchline parade.

The cast is stacked. John Cena leads the charge as Chris Smith, aka Peacemaker, with Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Robert Patrick, Frank Grillo, Sol Rodríguez, David Denman, Tim Meadows, and Michael Rooker rounding out the chaos. Fans can expect old faces, new threats, and even alternate-universe versions of our hero, all colliding in a season that’s part action, part therapy session, and all ridiculous fun.

Production was a juggling act: filming ran from June to November 2024 at Trilith Studios in Atlanta while Gunn also handled Superman, directing three episodes himself. The opening sequence, choreographed by Charissa Barton, kicks off with Foxy Shazam, setting the tone for the perfect mix of insane energy and twisted charm.

The show was released on August 21, 2025, and will run till October 9, 2025, across eight episodes. The second episode, called A Man Is Only as Good as His Bird, is set to drop on August 28, 2025.

Peacemaker Season 2 is available to stream on Prime Video.
