The tradition is set to continue well into the third season, which has already been renewed:"If I’m ever around, I’ll definitely do it. I love this show. One and two are so important, because people who are new to it will decide whether to keep going or not from this."In a recent conversation with Collider, Bobin confirmed that he would return for Percy Jackson and the Olympians as long as he is around because he has a personal love for the show. Directing the first two episodes of the season has ensured that Bobin sets the tone and pacing for the rest of the season as a new season and a new chapter begin:"I’m always very keen to be involved in the beginning. To set the tone and the pace and the world, and the sense of place. That’s really important to me. I build places and worlds and ideas, and then hopefully you think that’s a fun place to spend an hour of my time. This show is very important to me. I know a lot about this world, so I’m very keen to keep that going."Bobin also revealed that he took his job as a chance to bring places, worlds, and ideas to life, and he takes it as an honor if a viewer takes that in and decides to spend their time watching the show.
