Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Episode 1: Everything you need to know
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 is increasing the stakes for the Disney show, and if the official trailer is anything to go by, fans are not ready for what's to come. Especially considering the new PG-V rating that the new season has been awarded, it is clear that the violence and action this season is set to be much greater than ever before. Now that we are less than two weeks away from the second season's premiere, here's everything you need to know ahead of watching the first episode.
Episode 1 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 is set to premiere on December 10, 2025. The first episode is titled 'I Play Dodgeball with Cannibals, ' a phrase that has its origins as the second chapter's title in Riordan's A Sea of Monsters.
The chapter that this episode gets its title from finds Percy and the rest of the students at Camp Half-Blood facing a bunch of cannibal giants. These cannibals interrupt a game of dodgeball between bullied kids and the kids who bully them, to turn it into a game of dodging fireballs, thus giving way to the hilarious title.
While it isn't certain if a similar plot can be expected in the first episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2, being a faithful adaptation, this episode can be expected on the show.

Moving on to the cast, Walker Scobell is set to return as Percy Jackson and will be accompanied by Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase. Charlie Bushnell's Luke Castellan's betrayal is as fresh as the thorns in roses for Percy and Annabeth, but they have bigger problems to focus on this season, including saving Aryan Simhadri's Grover Underwood from a tragic fate.
While Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 will be premiering worldwide, it is exclusive to Disney+, and you need a premium subscription to the platform to join Percy Jackson and his Camp Half-Blood friends to accompany them on their journey to the Sea of Monsters.
Lucky for you, this episode will also be accompanied by the release of episode 2 of this season, titled 'Demon Pigeons Attack.'
