In Physical: Asia, 48 athletes from eight countries go head-to-head in a wild mix of muscle, madness, and mind games. It’s Netflix’s new spin on Physical: 100, but this time, the stakes (and biceps) are even bigger, with 1 billion Korean won on the line, roughly ₱41 million for the last one standing.

Teams from the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, Mongolia, and Australia battle it out in massive arenas built across land the size of five soccer fields. Showrunner Jang Ho-gi said it took 1,200 tonnes of sand and 40 tonnes of steel to create the set, basically, a gym lover’s dream and an engineer’s nightmare. Challenges include sinking ship scenarios and fortress-style combat courses designed to test every aspect of physical capability.

The first four episodes are now available on Netflix, with eight more releasing weekly. Each country's squad features six competitors led by accomplished athletes and champions. From boxing legends to UFC fighters, Olympic medalists to CrossFit specialists, the roster represents diverse disciplines united by one goal: Proving their nation's dominance through raw athletic prowess.
