"So, I know Rachel, the first thought in her head is going to be, I let my family down. I let my fans down. I let...you know, CBS, I let all these people down who thought I was going to come in and win this again. And that to me was the hardest thing to think about. Cuz it's like you...she did amazing and she did a phenomenal...played a phenomenal game. Um, to go out the way she did, really stinks," shared Brandon.

In his recent appearance on The Secret Alliance Podcast, Rachel Reilly's husband, Brendon Villegas, opened up about her elimination. Viewers must remember that Rachel was eliminated recently during a shocking twist.
The podcast host, Jason, asked Brendon what happened and how he found out about Rachel's shocking elimination. Big Brother alum recalled getting a call from the show's production.
"I got a call from production at like, probably like two and a half hours before the (live) feeds were set to come back on. So, Central Time, I think it was going to be like 11 o'clock....Well, I got a call about 8:30, and I was at...the worst part is...I was at Chuck-e-Cheese with my son."
Brendon mentioned he was playing games with his son, and that's when his phone rang. At the time, he was trying to kill "some aliens" with his son, and he learned the news.
"I don't even know what they said because now I'm also at a loss for words. It's like, Oh, Rachel's been evict...no, she hasn't been evicted. Rachel's been eliminated. Rachel's been...I don't know...whatever term they're using now. She's no longer in the game."
He added that there were rumors "swirling online" about the elimination. Brendon also referred to the show's production and noted that when they don't give updates to the "live feeders," they start coming up with "stuff" on their own.
While Brendon hoped that the rumors were not true, he learned that she was out (of the show.)
"I mean, so that was a big blow. It was hard to hear that," shared Brendon.
He also recalled having a discussion with Rachel about this possibility. The two talked about how she was going to have a "hard time" and an "uphill battle."
Additionally, Brendon noted that he was worried about Rachel putting "a lot of" pressure on herself. He said that that's what she did, similar to a lot of successful and type A personalities.
Further in his interview, Big Brother alum said he was getting a lot of texts about Rachel's elimination. However, he couldn't confirm any of those rumors until the news was revealed via the show. He recalled going to bed with his kids, thinking that in an hour everyone would find out about Rachel's elimination.
Later, when he woke up, Brendon learned that Rachel was trending and there were about 75,000 Tweets about her.
