"Playing for the NPR today": Celebrity Family Feud's Bridget Everett opens up about raising money on the game show

Celebrity Family Feud Season 11 Episode 6 aired on August 14, 2025, on ABC. The latest game show episode saw four new teams. Each of the teams played to win the prize money for the charity they support.

One of the game face-offs was between renowned actress Bridget Everett and Vanessa Bayer. Competing teams featured on the ABC game show were:

• Bridget Everett vs. Vanessa Bayer.

While on the show, Bridget Everett talked about the organization she was supporting. She shared a clip via her Instagram on August 11, 2025, before the episode aired. The actress introduced her teammates and shared:

"Hi, I'm Bridget Everett. This is my sister, Ellis. I'm my brother, Brian. That's my brother, Brock. There's Brad. And we're playing for NPR today, National Public Radio. We'll see you on the ice, Vanessa."

Celebrity Family Feud Season 11 Episode 6: Bridget Everett's team answers sports-related questions, which surprises the show host

The latest episode of the popular game show Celebrity Family Feud featured Bridget Everett with her family members. She was there to raise money for NPR - National Public Radio.

For the fans who might not know, she was there with her family members. This included her siblings Ellis, Brian, Brock, and Brad. They were Team Everett while their opposing team, Team Bayer, was led by Vanessa Bayer.

ABC describes the latest Celebrity Family Feud Season 11 Episode 6 as:

"The Harlem Globetrotters face off against the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders; actresses Bridget Everett and Vanessa Bayer compete for their selected charities."

For each episode of the reality show, fans witness popular personalities from various fields. They compete against their opposing teams with a chance to win prize money. Winnings are given to a charity/ organization of their choice.

Things got interesting during one of the rounds on the show. It was when Celebrity Family Feud host Steve Harvey asked the question:

"Name the sport with the most overpaid players."

From Bridget's team, her sister, Alice, was playing. She pressed the buzzer first. Her answer was Basketball. It was in second place. Her opposing player said Baseball. It was in third place.

Witnessing both the sports on the list of "most overplayed sports," the show host was surprised. He asked Alice if she wanted to "Pass or Play." She chose the latter.

Moving on to Team Everett for the round, show was, Steve Harvey was still in awe of the answer.

"That's crazy. I disagree with this survey. I disagree with it. Baseball it is," he said.

Listening to the Celebrity Family Feud host, everyone laughed. He went to Bridget Everett's team and started the round. The next answer, Football, was first on the answers list.

Next, Steve went to Bridget and asked the last question, one last time. However, their team was unable to answer correctly. She said Hockey while Brock said Hockey. Both of the answers were incorrect.
