Pluribus, the Apple TV sci-fi thriller starring Rhea Seehorn, has been renewed for season 2. The creator of the show is also the mastermind behind the popular show Breaking Bad, and Vince Gilligan is aiming for four seasons in total. However, they aren't all yet confirmed. According to reports, the shooting of season 2 is yet to happen, and the speculation is for late 2027 for the release.

Recently, while speaking with Variety, Rhea Seehorn was asked about when they are planning to shoot seasons 2, 3, and 4. She started by expressing how she wishes they would shoot not just 4 but 10 seasons of Pluribus, eventually. However, she doesn't have any idea about the shoot as of now.

What did Rhea Seehorn say about Pluribus having 10 seasons?

Rhea Seehorn in Pluribus recently spoke with Variety and expressed that she wants not only 2, 3, or 4 but 10 seasons for her Apple TV show. She said:

"I don't know, I wish it did, and I hope it's like ten seasons, whatever works for Vince."

She further mentions that the writers have started working on season 2. However, the actress doesn't have any information about what is going to happen:

"In the finale, very big things happen, but I don't even know what happens with them or because of them."

Seehorn then asked about the actors whom she would love to see starring as guests in season 2. She answered after thinking for a while that she would like to see Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley so that she can "force" them to be friends with her.

According to reports, Gilligan has mentioned that how many seasons the show goes depends on Seehorn's wish. Therefore, we can say that Seehorn's will to make it happen for 10 seasons is a plus point, positive news for Pluribus' future.

While we are talking about season 2 of Pluribus, season 1 hasn't wrapped up yet, and therefore, a renewal shows confidence in the makers of the show. Pluribus is a sci-fi drama about people from the entire world turning to hive minds, while only 12 people, including Seehorn's character, remain, on whom the virus doesn't work.

While some of them begin to think that the affected world is better off as it is more peaceful, it is only Carol who understands the real consequences of it, with everybody's individuality and personal life being snatched away.

In episode 7, Carol is seen recording some videotapes where she is adamant about "saving the world" and making things go back to like before. She discovers that hive minds eat human flesh and gets disturbed by the event. She tries to meet other humans like her, and her nearest choice becomes Koumba, who is in Las Vegas.

When she talks to him, we learn that Koumba had known about this already, and that is when a TV appears with John Cena talking to Carol. He tells her how the bodies she saw are of people who die of natural causes, as they never kill any human or even animals, for that matter. They have developed a human protein for consumption to fulfil their daily nutrition requirements. Koumba, though, accepts it as disturbing but doesn't seem to have any problem with it.

Meanwhile, Manousos, another fellow among the unaffected humans whose beliefs seem to be similar to Carol's, has started to travel to New Mexico from Paraguay after watching Carol's videotapes. While trekking through rough terrain, he falls unconscious and is rescued by a helicopter controlled by hive minds.
