Dominique Jackson played Elektra Abundance Evangelista, a fierce and commanding mother who later crafted the House of Wintour. Elektra believed in tough love and wanted her children to grow strong in a harsh world.

Both women showed different concepts of motherhood within the ballroom scene. Sandra Bernhard joined the series as Nurse Judy Kubrak, a steady voice at the AIDS ward who fought for trans patients.

Billy Porter, a fashion designer who mentored and befriended Blanca in Pose, excelled as Pray Tell, the primary emcee of the New York balls. Throughout the series, he battled internal conflicts and health issues. Angel Evangelista, a motivated trans woman who started as a sex worker before pursuing a career in fashion modeling, later found love and success. Indya Moore played the character.

Angel gained popularity due to her tenacity and charm. Lulu Ferocity, a founding member of the House of Ferocity, exuded beauty and confidence in this show. Hailie Sahar played the role. Angelica Ross brought life to the role of Candy Johnson Ferocity, a founder who gained fame in the series' universe with her razor-sharp humor.

In Pose, Ryan Jamaal Swain performed as Damon Evangelista, Blanca's first child. Blanca assisted him in enrolling in the New School for Dance. Lemar Khan, a member of the House of Abundance, founded the House of Khan. Jason A. Rodriguez brought life to this character.
