Power Book IV: Force Season 3 Episode 4 follows up with the repercussions of D-Mac's return. Moreover, this episode also features multiple scenes of Tseng and his romantic partner, Vic and Rae, and SOD (Sons of Destruction) members, characters who have not been seen in a while. This episode furthers Tommy's endgame to take over the Windy City crime network.

"Time to See the King", the fourth episode of Power Book IV: Force Season 3, focuses on Tommy formulating plans to save D-Mac. We also see the hold Shanti has on Jenard. Meanwhile, Claudia is finally out of prison and comes up with a plan to settle scores with Tommy. The synopsis for this episode reads:

"Tommy finds a way to protect D-Mac, and Jenard mends fences to please Shanti."

Power Book IV: Force Season 3 Episode 4 recap:

Episode 3 saw Tommy realize that Jenard and Diamond are out to get D-Mac. Diamond tells some lies to Tommy. For now, it is unclear if Tommy bought into his lies or not, but it seems that Egan might keep the Sampson brothers around for a while until he takes the top spot in the Chicago crime network. He also formulates the plan to save D-Mac from King Kilo, offering up a fall guy.

Meanwhile, Shanti is trying her best to be a part of Che's team. While Jenard sees a bright future with Shanti and Diamond by his side, she sees the former as a stepping stone in joining Che. But for now, Shanti convinces Jenard to mend his broken relationships to make himself invaluable to Che. As that happens, Claudia Flynn is finally out of prison.

Claudia is finally out in Power Book IV: Force Season 3 Episode 4 after spending a season incarcerated:

Right after becoming a free woman, Claudia comes up with a plan for Tommy by offering herself as bait and trapping him. Meanwhile, Power Book IV: Force Season 3 has been moving towards Tommy's endgame of taking over Chicago. Episode 4 sets up Claudia as one of the major obstacles on his path to the top spot.

We already know that season 3 is the final season of Power Book IV: Force, but that doesn't mean that this is the last of Tommy Egan. Joseph Sikora said this in the Instagram Video on June 14, 2024:

“When Gary Lennon and the other writers and I were mapping out our third season, we saw that we were telling a complete story, and that this was the perfect opportunity to stay true to our artistic vision and make this the final chapter in Tommy’s journey in Chicago. But don’t worry. Tommy’s journey is far from over with. We’re just getting warmed up, and I can’t wait to show you what we have planned next. I want to give a big shout out to all the players: the cast, the crew from ‘Power Book IV: Force,’ and tell you to tune in. Because ghosts never die, and power never ends.”

Therefore, the fourth episode just laid another foundation towards Tommy's endgame, which we will learn when Power Book IV: Force Season 3 approaches its ending in January 2026.
