Tiny Pretty Things star Michael Hsu Rosen has joined the cast of Presumed Innocent Season 2. The actor will play a yet-undisclosed role in the new chapter of the Apple TV series.
The show will feature a fresh cast this time, as it follows an anthology format. Apart from Rosen, Rachel Brosnahan, Jack Reynor, and Matthew Rhys have been confirmed to appear in the show.
While the first season starred Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead and was adapted from Scott Turow’s 1987 novel of the same name, Presumed Innocent Season 2 will be based on Jo Murray’s upcoming novel Dissection of a Murder.
Michael Hsu Rosen joins the cast of Presumed Innocent Season 2
As per a report by Deadline, Michael Hsu Rosen will have a major recurring role in Presumed Innocent Season 2. The actor has already been seen in several television shows, films, and stage plays.
He has worked in the Broadway productions of West Side Story, On the Town, and Torch Song. On the big screen, he has starred in films such as After Class and Daughter of the Bride. Meanwhile, on television, he shot to wide fame and acclaim by playing Nabil Limyadi, a French dancer in Tiny Pretty Things.
Rosen has also appeared as Jayden in Pretty Smart, Ben in Glamorous, Laurent Lyonne in Jessica Jones, and Brian in The Sex Lives of College Girls, which HBO Max recently canceled after three seasons.

Presumed Innocent Season 2 will follow Leila Reynolds, a defense attorney who takes up a murder case. She is soon shocked to realize how high-profile the case is, as it involves the death of a famous judge.
Apart from Michael Hsu Rosen, the season will star Rachel Brosnahan as Leila. The rest of the cast includes Jack Reynor as Leila’s client, Courtney B. Vance as Leila’s boss, Matthew Rhys as Leila’s husband, Fiona Shaw as a law firm partner, and John Magaro. The season's release date has not been announced yet.
David E. Kelley is returning to showrun the second season after creating the first chapter, and will be joined by J.J. Abrams. The two will serve as executive producers, along with Rachel Brosnahan, Rachel Rusch Rich, Matthew Tinker, Erica Lipez, Dustin Thomason, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Gyllenhaal starred in the first season of the series as Rusty Sabich. Based on Scott Turow’s eponymous novel, the season chronicled a prosecutor who became a suspect in the murder of his colleague, who also happened to be his lover. The show earned huge critical acclaim and received four Emmy nominations.
Apart from Gyllenhaal, Presumed Innocent Season 1 starred O-T Fagbenle as Nico Della Guardia, Ruth Negga as Barbara Sabich, Bill Camp as Raymond Horgan, and Nana Mensah as Det. Alana Rodriguez, Chase Infiniti as Jaden Sabich, Peter Sarsgaard as Tommy Molto, and Renate Reinsve as Carolyn Polhemus.
