Prime Video's upcoming comedy-drama series Sterling Point has added four new cast members, namely Missi Pyle, Mabel Strachan, Nikko Angelo Hinayo, and Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers. All four actors are tapped for recurring roles and will join previously announced lead actors Ella Rubin and Keen Ruffalo, who play twin siblings in the show.

Sterling Point, created by My Old Ass writer-director Megan Park, is an ensemble comedy series that will explore themes of sisterhood, family, and grief. It follows Annie (Rubin) and Connor (Ruffalo), twin siblings who live with their single father in New York. Annie's and Connor's lives take an exciting turn when they learn that their grandfather left them an island on a lake in his will.

The recently announced actors will join Sterling Point's previously announced cast, which includes Jay Duplass as Steven, Daniel Quinn-Toye as Rory, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Joe, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie as Ellis, and Bob Bragason as Oona. Additionally, Amélie Elisabeth Hoeferle will play the character of Ramona, a teen living on an island who has been raised by her grandfather.

Sterling Point adds four new cast members in recurring roles

Missi Pyle is the latest addition to the Sterling Point cast, who will play the character of Denise Ballantine. Missi Pyle is a renowned actress and singer, best known for her roles in The Wedding Bells, Impulse, and Dirty John. Recently, she also appeared in Mindy Kaling's The Sex Lives of College Girls and Harlan Coben's Shelter.

The next addition to Prime Video's upcoming series' cast is Mabel Strachan, who will play the character of Maple. Strachan has an exciting lineup of forthcoming projects, including the Netflix series The Undertow, alongside Jamie Dornan. The actress will also appear in Sky New Zealand Originals/BBC Scotland's upcoming series The Ridge.

Nikko Angelo Hinayo will portray Sully in Sterling Point. Hinayo is an up-and-coming Filipino-Canadian actor, singer, and theater performer. They are best known for portraying the character of Emile in Evany Rosen's Davey & Jonesie's Locker on Hulu. Additionally, Hinayo has also appeared in 2021's The Heartfelt & Soulless: A Rock Opera.

Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers rounds up the recently announced cast as Kate. Tailfeathers is a renowned Canadian filmmaker and actor who has won multiple Canadian Screen Awards for her work both on-screen and off-screen. Her 2019 Canadian drama film The Body Remembers When the World Broke Open won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Director, which she shared with Kathleen Hepburn. Her acting roles include Sweet Angel Baby and Three Pines.

Sterling Point is brought to you by Park, LuckyChap & Josh Schwartz, and Stephanie Savage’s Fake Empire. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage also co-showrun the series, along with Park.

The series is said to follow themes of sibling love, nature vs nurture, and family dynamics. In addition to Annie and Connor's sibling relationship, the YA series will also explore their relationship with their single father and their estranged grandfather, who had left them an island in his will.
