Episode 6 of Pro Bono ended on a complex note. Kaya's case had reached a dead end. Unfortunately, she did not get the justice fans were seeking and David has been fighting for. Her abuse was almost invalidated in the regional and the supreme court. The protagonist did try his best and appealed to highlight the emotional aspect of the lawsuit.

We know that she had been abused in the marriage, but the divorce filing stayed irrelevant as the court annulled the marriage in the final verdict. In such cases, the immigrant (Kaya) is supposed to be deported. David's team has lost the case, but he still filed for asylum for the victim. Pro Bono demonstrated that justice is not always as straightforward as we see in courtroom dramas. Sometimes it's nasty, layered, and disheartening.

The episode ended as Gi-ppeum labels David as innocent. This is confusing because in previous episodes, we have always seen them both in heated arguments. Gi-ppeum was always suspicious about David, and he, too, kept amplifying it with a lack of explanation.

So, fans are now curious about what she even meant by it. The answer would be revealed in Pro Bono episode 7.

Pro Bono episode 7 is set to release on 27th December 2025 (Saturday). Sadly, fans will have to wait six more days after the sixth episode ended on 21st December. It will be broadcast on TVN at 9:10 PM KST. The episodes usually arrive on Netflix shortly after their regional release on TVN.

Where to watch episode 7

For South Korean audiences, episode 7 is accessible on TVN on the said release date and time. However, the rest need to wait a bit more for their Netflix release.

Only once the complete episode has been aired on TVN, it is released on Netflix around 9 AM ET with subtitles.

What should you expect in Pro Bono episode 7?

As we know, the previous episode ended with less clarity. We don't know what happens to Kaya after David files for asylum. Also, we don't know what Gi-ppeum meant when she called the lead 'innocent'. Hopefully, episode 7 will offer answers to all such questions.

Kaya's case has reached almost a dead end, and the Pro Bono team has accepted defeat. However, we must not lose hope until the final verdict from the Supreme Court arrives. This might open doors for David and Kaya, or things may even go downhill. What we need to watch out for is what Kang's next move will be. By now, it's clear that he is doing everything in his power to protect Kaya.

Furthermore, it's important to note how David's character arc has been gradually shifting over the last couple of episodes. He is not appearing as an arrogant, materialistic professional as we see in the beginning. In fact, he is more grounded and humane with his strategies now. This makes the character even more interesting and likable.
