"Quality TV" - The Amazing Race fans appreciate producers for making season 37 exciting

The Amazing Race season 37 came to an end on May 15, 2025. The episode featured races all across the world and finally crowned a winner in Miami, Florida. They were Jack Dodge and Carson McCalley, two friends who loved gaming together.

The duo won a million dollars and has traveled 29,000 miles around the globe. This season, the producers took the racers, as well as the viewers, through a journey to Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, France, and Portugal.

The second place was bagged by Han Nguyen and Holden Nguyen. The third position was taken up by Jonathan Towns and Ana Towns, the most controversial couple of the season. They all had to race through twelve legs and 10 countries.

The Amazing Race fans had only good words to say about the season. Taking to Reddit in a channel called r/TheAmazingRace, they voiced their opinions about the latest season of the show and how well it was made.

A user posted,

"I love this season, it really feels like the producers have figured out how to make the race exciting. Han and Holden and Carson and Jack are some of my favourite teams ever especially in the last 10 or so seasons. It’s unpredictable, you have people to root for, people to hate, challenges are hard, routes are longer - quality tv"

Replying to the above comment, another fan said,

"I agree, this season has been the best one in a long time. At one point or another, it has given a lot elements from classic TAR. The different twist on every leg has definitely helped elevate this season but the cast is 100% delivering this time."

"I agree about Han and Holden and Carson and Jack. they are definitely two of my favorites of all time. This is such a wonderful show and such a great season," read another comment.

"the last 4 or so episodes especially, i have been locked in on the tv. havent found the episodes a chore to get thru at all!" replied a fan.

Agreeing that The Amazing Race season 37 was great, a fan criticized the presence of Jonathan and Ana on the screen, as his behavior was bad towards his wife. They said,

"Love Carson and Jack!! It’s been a great and exciting season. The only exception to that is Jonathon’s nasty attitude, which has been disgusting to watch."

Adding,

"He is a grown man, husband and father… old enough by now to know his behavior is 1000% inappropriate, cruel and something he should have addressed a LONG time ago. He has nearly ruined the season for me with his foul perspective and game play. Worst contestant I’ve seen in ALL seasons."

The Amazing Race Season 37 finale recap

The Amazing Race finale started when the teams were taken to Miami, Florida, and were to race through water-based activities. These included sailing around a yacht club, hydroflighting above the Biscayne Bay, and a rescue training exercise, which meant jet skiing.

This took a toll on Ana, who later revealed to the media that she was proud of herself for pulling through these rounds and facing her fear. She has almost drowned as a child, which makes oceans her biggest fear.

As for Carson and Jack, they were quick, on their toes, and figuring out clues one after the other. Han and Holden couldn't catch up to these friends. As for Ana and Jonathan, they were too busy with their own mess.

By the end of the Amazing Race finale episode, it was obvious that the winners were Carson and Jack after an entire season of tough challenges and even tougher drama.
