The 16-episode series, Queen of Tears, delivers a happy ending with Hae-in surviving her terminal illness and the antagonist facing his rightful fate. Hyun-woo and Hae-in are about to meet when she is reminded of her memories of her ex-husband. Just as they stand on opposite sides of the road in anticipation, the traffic signal turns red when a bus passes, causing Hae-in to vanish.

Eun Sung then kidnaps Hae-in, and Hyun-woo is involved in an accident while rushing to her. He ends up in the hospital but escapes before his treatment to search for Hae-in at the hunting arena. Eun-sung is obsessed with winning Hae-in's affection and plans to leave the country with her. The most intense scenes occur when Hyun-woo takes a bullet for Hae-in, showing that his love for her is unconditional, regardless of the danger.

Hae-in becomes Eun Sung's greatest weakness as she realizes that his obsession isn't driven by love but by desperation and a need for control. Eun-sung's inability to harm Hae-in gives Hyun-woo a chance to act. While Hee-in's resilience makes Eun-sung highly unstable.

Meanwhile, we see Mo-Seul-hee taking control of the Queen's Group even if it comes at the expense of his own son, Eun-sung. After Eun-sung’s death, she tries to seize his company shares to solidify her position. However, a video emerges showing her poisoning Hong Man-dae, which leads to her arrest and imprisonment, eliminating all their enemies.
