Reacher Season 4 is here, and if you thought the bathroom wall was brutal in Season 1, wait till you see what a New York subway has in store this time. Based on Lee Child’s 13th book, Gone Tomorrow, the new season kicks off with Reacher spotting a potential suicide bomber on a late-night train.
From there, it spirals, involving federal agencies, corrupt politicians, and a conspiracy that extends up the chain of command. Alan Ritchson returns, still doesn’t carry a phone, still doesn’t back down, and still somehow finds coffee in every town he drifts into.
Reacher Season 4 is already filming and brings a new wave of characters who, let’s face it, are either going to help Reacher or end up in a chokehold. There’s also a solid chance that Neagley shows up again, which probably means more silent nods and less small talk, thank God.
Reacher Season 4 trades the motel dust for East Coast chaos and gives Reacher another excuse to use payphones like it’s 1998. If Reacher’s punching people in suits again, you know we’re in for something big.
Reacher Season 4 cast and characters
Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher

Alan Ritchson is back as Jack Reacher, and nobody’s shocked. Reacher Season 4 kicks off with a strange subway scene. Reacher notices a woman acting off and ends up neck-deep in a case involving the Pentagon, terror groups, and another set of overconfident villains.
This time, the action shifts from small towns to a bigger city. Ritchson hasn’t lost the calm menace that makes his Reacher feel unshakable. He’s got that look that says, “I’ve been in worse situations—and you haven’t.” With a book like Gone Tomorrow as the source, expect him to get involved too quickly and leave chaos in his wake. The guy still manages to find trouble even when he's just trying to ride a train.
Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette as Jacob Merrick

Jacob Merrick is a new face played by Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette, who stepped in after Jay Baruchel exited the role. Merrick is a small-town New Jersey cop whose sister dies in the subway incident that Reacher witnesses. It pushes him straight into Reacher’s path, whether he’s ready or not.
Marquette joined Reacher Season 4 in late June 2025 with basically no prep time. He’s known for Barry and RZR, and he brings a lot more edge than expected. His version of Merrick isn’t naive; he’s frustrated and has something to prove. Once Reacher gets involved, Merrick’s job becomes anything but routine.
Sydelle Noel as Detective Tamara Green

Sydelle Noel is playing Detective Tamara Green, a homicide cop based in Philly. She’s Reacher Season 4’s stand-in for Theresa Lee from the book. She’s direct, sharp, and probably won’t be impressed when Reacher shows up uninvited and starts pointing out flaws in her case. Green and her partner, Docherty, are first on the scene after the subway death.
Noel brings credibility from her work in GLOW and Black Panther, and she fits right into the show’s no-nonsense world. Green’s got instincts, but the deeper they get, the more she realizes Reacher's gut usually beats protocol. She’ll argue with him, then probably follow his lead.
Kevin Corrigan as Detective Docherty

Kevin Corrigan joins as Detective Docherty, Tamara Green’s partner in Reacher Season 4. He’s seen it all: murders, crooked witnesses, and bad coffee. Now he’s stuck with Reacher popping up and making his life harder. Docherty’s the kind of guy who gives side-eyes during interrogations and probably mutters, “Why is this guy still here?” every time Reacher says something blunt.
Corrigan’s been around, from Poker Face to The Departed, and his energy adds skepticism without slowing the plot. He doesn’t jump into fights like Reacher but might stand nearby saying, “Well, that escalated fast.” Expect sarcasm, reluctant teamwork, and a lot of deadpan frustration.
Marc Blucas as Congressman John Samson

Marc Blucas plays Congressman John Samson, a D.C. figure with secrets that go deeper than his campaign speeches. In Gone Tomorrow, Samson represents the type of character who always looks clean until you scratch the surface. He’s connected to everything: the subway death, the cover-ups, and the power players behind it all.
Blucas brings a smooth charm with a buried threat. He’s the guy who’ll shake your hand with one and call in a favor with the other. When Reacher starts poking around, Samson’s polished calm is probably the first thing to crack. He’s got too much to lose, and too many people helping him hide it.
Kathleen Robertson as Elsbeth Samson

Kathleen Robertson plays Elsbeth Samson, John’s wife, and she’s not just tagging along. Robertson, who’s known from Bates Motel and The Expanse, plays Elsbeth as someone who knows way more than she’s letting on. She can smile during interviews and lie straight to your face.
Her scenes probably walk the line between grace and danger. She’s not loud or messy, but you’ll know she’s got a hand in something. Elsbeth isn’t clueless, and she’s not a background character. If anything, she’s likely the one who’s been keeping things together while her husband pretends he’s in charge.
Kevin Weisman as Russell Plum

Kevin Weisman is Russell Plum, a freelance journalist poking into CIA operations and accidentally stepping into a mess Reacher’s about to make worse. Plum’s the guy who follows leads too far, asks too many questions, and doesn’t care who tells him to stop. He’s convinced something shady’s going down.
Weisman’s roles in Alias and Marvel’s Runaways have prepared him for characters like this: nerdy, relentless, but consistently underestimated. Reacher probably finds him annoying at first. But Plum has info no one else does, and that’s the only reason he doesn’t get shoved out of the way.
Agnez Mo as Lila Hoth

Agnez Mo plays Lila Hoth, a woman who shows up in Philly with questions about her father. She’s Indonesian, she’s confident, and she’s not what she seems. Lila’s tied to the suicide and secrets buried in D.C. files.
Agnez is a megastar in Indonesia, but here she dials it down to match the show’s tone. Lila’s scenes with Reacher might start calm, but they’ll probably twist into something bigger. There’s something about her story that doesn’t sit right, and Reacher’s not the type to ignore that gut feeling.
Anggun as Amisha Hoth

Anggun plays Amisha Hoth, Lila’s mother, in Reacher Season 4. She’s elegant, quiet, and worried about what they’re getting into. Amisha’s not just in town for emotional support—she knows more than she’s letting on. The Hoths are tied to whatever’s unraveling around Reacher’s investigation.
Amisha’s hiding something, whether it’s from Reacher, her daughter, or everyone else. When Reacher starts digging, she’ll either run out of patience or finally break down. But until then, she’s keeping that mask on tight.
