Reacher star Alan Ritchson reveals that he has a future in DC but not as Batman

Reacher is an American action-crime television series and is based on Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels. Alan Ritchson portrays Jack Reacher, a former military police officer in the United States Army who traverses the country, investigating crimes and apprehending dangerous felons.

Throughout the first season, he investigates a local conspiracy in Margrave, Georgia. In Season 2, Reacher rejoins his previous army unit to investigate a murder. In the third season, a weapons trafficking network is targeted, and a DEA informant is saved. Neagley, a spin-off, and a fourth season are in the works.

Reacher actor Alan Ritchson acknowledged that he has discussed Batman with James Gunn, and he is still optimistic about a future with the DCU. Ritchson's professional background explains why he is often connected with superheroes, and he was one of the first actors to play the character in live-action. This made his television debut as Aquaman on Smallville from 2005 until 2010. Later, he starred in the comedy series Blue Mountain State and in films.
