"Ready to settle down" - Farmer Wants a Wife's Keeley opens up about possibly being Colton's pick

Colton and Keeley have had on-screen chemistry on Farmer Wants a Wife, but before the recent season finale aired, she was not sure if he would he his choice.

As for Colton Hendricks, who hails from Mena, Arkansas, he is a cattle rancher and a horse trainer. By the penultimate episode of the season, he was left with two choices: Keeley or Zoe. Colton has a son named Souther and wants his future wife to fit into their lives.

However, he has only recently separated from his ex and Keeley's parents, when they met Colton and his family for one last time before the decision, claimed that they get a feeling as if Colton does not want to get married right now at all. They feel as if he is unsure about Keeley.

There were other signs as well, apart from her parents pointing this out. Colton has been openly expressing all season that he wants to take his new relationship slow and figure out what happens in the future.

Even when their dating period on Farmer Wants a Wife was ending, he was quite upset and felt like he was being rushed into making a decision.

As for Keeley, she is sure and has been sure since day one about getting married. Talking about what she wants from her future, she said in a clip by InTouch Weekly,

"Colton’s just made me feel so beautiful and so sure of myself. I just see a future with him. So, I’m ready to be serious and I’m ready to settle down.”

Colton and Keeley come from completely different backgrounds, and even Zoe is very far from what he wants. Previously, he has revealed that he wants someone who could match his lifestyle at the farm and also someone who understands the business.

However, it is obvious that her dates do not have much experience with it. He is also trying to meet someone who would accept his son Souther and be a step-mom figure to him. In an interview with InTouch, he said,

"He’s the most important thing in my life. You can pretty much change everything about your life except for your kids. For me, I’m looking at more aspects than what’s on the surface level with these girls.”

By the end of the Farmer Wants a Wife season, it was revealed that Colton had made his decision, and it was not in favor of Keeley. He has decided to part ways with her because he feels they are not on the same track and wants to make the right decision for his son.

She understood her sentiments and appreciated him for being nice and honest about the whole deal. She also noted that it was right for Colton to put his son and his needs first as a father.
