"Really beautiful": Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba reacts to Robert Irwin's latest performance

The latest Dancing With The Stars Season 34 Episode 5 aired on October 14, 2025, and featured the remaining ten contestants.

They performed on the Dedication Night theme. For that, participants shared a story behind their dedication, while some of them were also joined by their friends, family, and loved ones.

One of the performances on the Dedication Night was by Robert Irwin and his pro dancing partner Witney Carson. They received appreciation from the judges for their performance and dedication concept.

Dancing With The Stars Season 34 Episode 5: Judges share their thoughts on Robert and Witney's Dedication Night performance

For the recently released Dancing With The Stars Season 34 episode, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson performed Phil Collins' You'll Be In My Heart. Before their performance, Robert shared his dedication story with everyone.

As fans already know, the theme for episode 5 was Dedication Night. For that, Robert dedicated his performance to his mom.

"This is a moment with my mom I will cherish forever," said Robert.

Witnessing their performance, Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Anne Inaba noted that it was a "really beautiful" performance. She told Robert that he had been "so honest and open," and he always connected with the audience.

Fellow judge Derek mentioned his love for Robert's family. He added that the world needed the Irwin family. Guest judge Kym Johnson shared that the love Robert had for his family was moving.

Dancing With The Stars' Bruno also appreciated Robert's performance:

"Robert, he's looking at you kid, and he's similing."

He added that the performance was the "true expression" of everlasting love. After sharing their comments, the judges also revealed their scores out of 10. Carrie Ann Inaba gave 8 while the rest of the judges, Bruno, Derek, and Kym, gave 9 each. As a result, Robert's score for episode 5 was 35.

Along with Robert and Witney's emotional performance, the episode also featured many other acts, which were also praised by the judges.

One of them was Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach's contemporary dance. The duo performed Zac Efron and Zendaya's Rewrite the Stars. It was a dedication to Dylan's younger sister. They received a total of 36 points from the judges, while Carrie Ann Inaba shared that the dedication story was incredible.

"You're a great guy, you're in shape, you can dance, and you're a great brother. Well done," shared Derek.

Guest judge Kym noted that Dylan was becoming a great dancer by improving himself. Bruno told him that it was a fantastic number and that Dylan was "getting better and better."
