Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 7 sees Harry kill his father to get his alien energy back. Throughout the episode, Harry tries to find ways to fake a kill or justify taking someone out. He even considers murdering Asta’s abusive ex, Jimmy, but after hitting him with a wrench, he survives.
Later, Harry’s father, Ed, ties up Max and threatens to kill the boy if Harry doesn’t do it himself. Backed into a corner, Harry picks up a fireplace poker and stabs Ed. Ed transforms into his alien form before dying.
The alien energy is released from its containment and flows back into Harry. He shifts into his full alien appearance, confirming that the power transfer worked. Ben and Kate walk in right at that moment and see Harry in his alien form for the first time. Max, who had earlier blackmailed Harry, hugs him, and Harry calls Max his friend.
Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 7: Mike closes in on the Mantid’s true identity

FBI agent Jules Gardner is revealed to be the Mantid. Mike and Liv spend most of the episode trying to figure out who the Mantid is based on small clues, especially the cigarette butts found at a crime scene. While Liv initially rules Jules out after she answers a childhood memory question correctly, Mike remains suspicious. Later, Mike confronts Jules outside a diner and watches her smoke, finally confirming his theory.
When Mike points a gun at her and shoots her in the stomach, Jules spits the bullet back out, proving she’s not human. She admits she’s the Mantid and says she can read minds. She warns Mike that she’ll kill him later once she has destroyed Patience. This leaves Mike and Liv with solid confirmation, but no clear way to stop her. Jules continues to blend in for now, but she’s clearly planning something major.
Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 7: Kate and Ben scramble to cover their baby’s sudden return

Kate and Ben still don’t have a clear story about their baby’s sudden return. At the start of the episode, Kate has been up all night with the baby, while Ben suggests she pretend to have been secretly pregnant. Max walks in, sees the baby, and assumes they adopted her. Kate and Ben go along with that explanation, realizing it’s the easiest cover. They struggle to pick a name and throw around several options.
When they run into D’Arcy later, the baby smiles at her. Kate sees the reaction and realizes D’Arcy might have been on the alien ship. This sets up Kate’s next steps, as she begins to suspect D’Arcy knows more than she’s saying. Meanwhile, Kate finds a check that Harry wrote to Max, raising even more questions. Kate and Ben are now tangled deeper in the alien mystery, especially after they walk in on Harry’s alien form.
Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 7: Tension builds between Asta and Dan over the diner’s future

Asta is upset with Dan because he wants to sell the diner and doesn’t plan on leaving it to her. When Dan returns, he compliments how well Asta handled things while he was gone, but says he wants to keep touring with his band.
He suggests she find something new instead of staying stuck in Patience. Asta takes this personally, thinking he doesn’t trust her with the diner. She storms out, overwhelmed by the idea that she might not be needed anymore. Dan later explains that he just wants her to live her life and see more of the world before settling down.
Asta admits she’s scared of the unknown and has always tied her purpose to being useful to others. The conversation ends with her still uncertain, but now at least acknowledging that she might want something beyond running the diner. The future of the diner remains undecided.
