Revenged Love Episode 5 recap: Chi Cheng visits Wu Suo Wei's house as Guo Cheng Yu begins questioning Wei's motives

Revenged Love Episode 5 saw many twists and turns in Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei's relationship.

Episode 5 of Revenged Love, the popular and ongoing Chinese BL series, featured the beginning of Wu Suo Wei's (Zi Yu) romance with Chi Cheng (Tian Xu Ning), after the two shared their first kiss in Episode 4.

Still flustered by the sudden kiss, Wei ignores Chi Cheng, who becomes increasingly desperate to see him. Chi Cheng even visits Jiang Xiao Shuai's clinic in hopes of talking to Wei, but he is nowhere to be found. He forces Jiang to reveal Wei's location. JIang reluctantly tells him Wei is hiding at his mother's place.

On the other hand, Guo Cheng Yu begins an investigation and learns that Wei had dated Chi Cheng's current girlfriend for three years and suspects him of harbouring ulterior motives. He also continues to chase Jiang Xiao Shuai by sending pastries to his clinic, and also learns about his troublesome past relationship.

Revenged Love Episode 5 recap: Wo Suo Wei sees a new side of Chi Cheng

Without wasting any time, Chi Cheng visits Wei's mother's house, who tells him that he is 'sick' and has not gotten out of his room for two days. Chi Cheng catches Wei watching some videos in his room, and the two share a flirty banter again. During dinner, Wei notices how warm Chi Cheng is with his mother and how he treats her like his own mother. On the other hand, Chi Cheng learns about Wei's poor upbringing and agrees to spend the night at Wei's house, on his mother's insistence.

Revenged Love Episode 5 saw Wei noticing small things about Chi Cheng when they had no option but to share a room at night. When Wei was having difficulty sleeping on the floor, Chi Cheng switched places with him and slept on the floor, offering Wei his bed.

The following morning, Wei returns to basketball practice and pretends to fall sick when Chi Cheng is about to make plans with Yue Yue. Thinking that Wei is jealous of his girlfriend, Chi Cheng agrees to eat hotpot from a local stall with him.

Revenged Love Episode 5 recap: Wei further sabotages Chi Cheng and Yue Yue's relationship

Revenged Love Episode 5 featured another heartfelt moment between Wei and Chi Cheng when they visited a local restaurant to enjoy spicy hotpot. While Chi Cheng usually does not eat spicy food and never eats at a local restaurant, he genuinely enjoyed the hotpot because of Wei. Seeing Chi Cheng enjoy his meal, Wei remembers his time with Yue Yue and the reason she gave while breaking up with him.

He remembers how she called him poor for always eating cheap hotpots from local restaurants when Chi Cheng genuinely enjoys them without complaining. As the two head to their car, Chi Cheng suggests that Wei move in and they start living together. However, since Wei's end goal is to break up Chi Cheng with Yue Yue, he asks him to break up with his girlfriend before, and only then will he seriously consider their relationship.

When Chi Cheng does not reply, Wei gets angry and steps out of the car and into the pouring rain. The final moments of Revenged Love Episode 5 saw Wei pretending to be heartbroken and smoking, when Chi Cheng sees him and takes him to his house.
