Episode 4 of Revival, titled "The Ring," premiered recently and is now available to stream on the show's official platform. Viewers can catch the episode through the show's streaming service or any partner network that carries the series. With each new episode, the show grows darker, more intense, and packed with revelations that’ll leave you breathless.
This episode is where things take a wild turn. Until now, Revival has slowly built a quiet but creepy small-town mystery. But with Episode 4, the show becomes a full-on thriller. Secrets explode, relationships change, and lives are literally on the line.
The story begins with Em and her new partner, Rhodey, trying to find out who killed her. Em starts getting flashbacks of the night she died. She remembers standing on the bridge and seeing Blaine Abel, yes, the same man who just burned Arlene alive. That memory becomes key.
Blaine’s confession and the mystery light in Revival

Dana, Em’s sister and a cop, confronts Blaine. He admits he was near the bridge that night. He says Em looked "high" and mentioned an explosion and a strange light in the woods. This light keeps popping up, making us wonder, was something supernatural happening that night?
While Em digs through her memories, Dana starts asking hard questions. She wants to know exactly what happened on the bridge and who was there. Her investigation adds pressure and pushes the truth closer to the surface.
Things aren’t calm in the town either. Em and Dana’s dad, Sheriff Wayne, orders that all survivors must register and get ID stamps. The move feels harsh and starts tearing the community apart.
One of Wayne’s close friends, Diane, turns out to be a reviver. She begs him not to register her. But he says no, showing how the revival situation is now breaking even lifelong friendships.
Meanwhile, Em and Rhodey are getting closer. Their bond grows into something deeper, and during one emotional moment, Em has another flashback. She remembers someone covering her mouth with a cloth on the bridge. She passed out after that.
Then, she remembers the ring she coughed up after coming back to life. She realizes it wasn’t Aaron’s. It belonged to her killer.
Rhodey and Em trace the ring back to a pawn shop. The seller says it was custom-made and bought using the email: James.Anderson.com. Em realizes this is Aaron’s assistant’s fake name. Things aren’t adding up.
At the same time, Dana is checking Blaine’s story. She finds out the car towed from Bull Falls was rented in cash with a fake ID by someone named James Anderson. Even worse, Aaron wasn’t at the hospital with his wife the night Em died, like he said he was.
Therapy session opens up Em’s past in Revival
Em is forced to attend a therapy session after acting out. Her therapist is Aaron’s wife, who doesn’t know about his secrets. Em reveals she has brittle bone disease and that she blames herself for her mom’s death from cancer. We see just how damaged M was before her own death.
Em finally finds Aaron and demands answers. She shows him the ring and says, “Tell me what you did to me.” Aaron confesses: “I was there. I took you from the bridge.” But he swears he didn’t kill her.
Before he can say more, a gunshot hits him. Em is stunned. Dana shows up, but more gunfire erupts. Dana is shot, and Em holds her sister, screaming for help as the screen fades.
Aaron’s confession tells us he helped in Em’s abduction, but says he didn’t kill her. So who did? Someone else might have been in the woods. And they could still be out there.
More clues pop up that the revival might not be natural at all.
- Revivors don’t need sleep
- They feel something missing inside
- Blaine saw a strange light in the woods
- Dr. Ibrahim is being blocked from doing real research
Something deeper, and possibly more dangerous, is going on.
Aaron also makes a secret call before the shootout. He says, “I didn’t tell anyone. I kept my end of the deal.” This suggests someone powerful may be blackmailing him. Maybe he helped take Em to save his wife, who is battling cancer.
Rhodey and Em’s relationship becomes tense due to her obsession with the case. Dana and Dr. Ibrahim grow closer, and that makes her shooting all the more tragic. The emotional contrast of love and violence hits hard.
Sheriff Wayne, meanwhile, gets colder and more distant from both daughters, especially Dana. His fear of the revival is destroying his family.
The scenes in the woods are dark, tense, and confusing, just like Em’s scattered memories. Flashbacks become more intense, and the sounds when Em remembers the past are muffled and eerie, showing how trauma still affects her.
Episode 4 of Revival changes the game. The story is no longer just about Em’s murder; now it’s about what’s really happening in Wausau. The revival isn’t just a miracle; it’s a mystery, a threat, and possibly a conspiracy.
The final moments leave us with so many questions. Is Dana alive? Is Aaron dead? Who fired the shots? Who actually killed Em? One thing’s clear: Episode 5 can’t come soon enough.
