Robin Hood Episode 3 recap

Episode 3 opened with Nottingham in turmoil after the shocking death of Captain Laforce. The Sheriff wasted no time declaring Robin a traitor and placing a bounty of 200 coins on his head. It wasn't just vengeance; it was power politics. He also wanted to make Robin's execution a public display to instill fear in the minds of the common people.

However, the Earl of Huntingdon refused to share the bounty amount and took matters into his own hands. The subtle power play between the two powerful men is quite visible.

In the forest, Robin finds unlikely allies in the Miller siblings, Ralph, Drew, and Henry. Ralph, disguised as a man, learned archery from Robin and became a loyal companion. The fragile peace was shattered when the soldiers mistook Ralph for Robin, leading to another bloodshed that created more trouble for Robin.

The episode also introduced John Naylor, a bounty hunter believer, who received a divine vision commanding him to protect Robin instead of capturing him.

Tragedy struck again when Aaron Huntingdon, the Earl's son, ambushed Robin's camp and was killed by Ralph while defending her brothers. The act ignited a new vendetta. The Earl swore revenge, and things for now are not looking good for Robin and his band.
