Love Island USA Season 7 Episode 34 was a brutal one for Chelley and Ace's fans, as it saw them leave the villa. The episode featured an elimination based on viewers' votes; however, fans were shocked because they had been rooting for their connection and could not believe that a vast majority of people would vote the two off.
Ace has been in hot water many times this season of Love Island USA, but viewers pointed out that he had redeemed himself, and it looks like he genuinely likes Chelley.
Even Chelley, who was beloved initially, found herself in the middle of controversy against Huda stans who felt like she did the latter wrong. However, the two ladies made up the next day, and all was well.
The saddest part about this dumping for the fans was how Ace and Chelley, or Chellace as they like to call them, had just closed things off and decided to be exclusive.
Fans also feel like there is a certain curse on the couples this season because as soon as they decide on being exclusive, they are dumped from the villa.
It happened to Cierra when she and Nic were exclusive, then Taylor and Clarke, on the same night they decided to close things off, were dumped, and now Ace and Chelley were eliminated within 24 hours of closing things off. Voicing their opinions on X, a fan wrote,

Love Island USA - Ace and Chelley get dumped after being exclusive
Even though Ace and Chelley, post their Love Island USA experience, revealed in interviews that they are happy about finding each other and are not much concerned about the dumping, it still stings for the fans who wanted to see their story unfold in the villa.
The previous night, when islanders got a text that the Hideaway was open, the cast decided that Chelley and Ace should be the ones to spend their night there.
During this, Ace asked Chelley with a beautiful poem that he had written, to close things off, and she had agreed. The two were dumped the next day after America voted them as their least favorite couple on Love Island USA.
