Paige escapes once again as Simon gets into an ugly altercation with Aaron. However, things take a turn for the worse for Simon when Aaron is found dead soon after, making him the primary suspect for the murder.

Amidst all this, Simon and his wife, Ingrid, set out to understand the truth about what happened to their daughter, who makes it out alive at the end of the show, and in the midst of this all, is the setting for Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst's Netflix limited series, Run Away.

Is Paige Greene alive at the end of Netflix's limited series, Run Away?

One of the most frequently asked questions is whether Paige makes it out alive at the end of the show. Well, fortunately, she does.

This question is answered quite early on in the finale, as Simon spots her in the same park where he saw her at the beginning of the season with Aaron. However, this time, Paige opens up about whatever has been going on with her life, all of which Simon had been oblivious to.

She reveals that she had been facing s*xual harassment at the university. She started spending time with Aaron andresorted to drugs to deal with her situation, and she did not reveal any of this to her father out of fear of disappointing him. However, she had confided in her mother, who had put her in rehab, in the same facility that had treated her when she was younger.

When Simon finds Paige again for the second time, she looks much better than before, and she reveals that this is because she had been in rehab and had been clean for a month. She was living with Aaron when her father spotted her first, so when the murder took place, she escaped, fearing that the police would suspect that she had killed him. But the truth is much more shocking.

As the series comes to an end, it is revealed that Aaron's murder was not committed by Paige or the two hired assassins. Instead, it was Paige's mother, Ingrid, who had committed the murder in an attempt to protect her daughter from drug abuse. It was revealed that Aaron would keep manipulating Paige into going out of rehab and taking drugs. Therefore, in an attempt to save her daughter, Ingrid decided to kill Aaron.

The ending of Run Away leaves fans on the edge of their seat, and also on the fence about the morality behind the choice made. However, the twist is truly applaudable.

Run Away is divided into eight episodes and is available to stream on Netflix.
