Saturday Night Live season 50 finale aired on NBC on May 3, 2025. The episode featured host Quinta Brunson, who has returned after performing the same gig in season 48. As for the musical guest of the episode, it was Benson Boone, who marked his SNL debut.

During her monologue, Quinta joked that she had to come back after hosting for the time because she had forgotten her phone charger. Soon, she starts a song about being short called 'Shorties' and jokes about how other short people in the industry have gone on to do amazing things.

As she recalls, Sabrina Carpenter, the Espresso singer, joins her on the Saturday Night Live stage and shares their short experiences with each other. Marcello Hernandez also joins along with Dwayne Wade.

The Cold Open did yet another take on President Trump, who has recently marked 100 days in office. A rendition of Stephen Miller hands over executive orders to President Trump, who signs them one after the other and pauses to click pictures.

They had many, such as the one where the commercials will reduce the quantity of interracial couples in their ads, and then an order to bring back Columbus Day.

Saturday Night Live did a humorous spin on a Black Mirror episode of the same sort, where senior citizens could earn money online. It depicts elder parents, Brunson and Thompson, who have enough cash flow to keep them comfortable. It is all because of their presence on OnlyFans.

Later on Saturday Night Live, Quinta is in a class where they are learning social skills at work. The highlight is a compliment sandwich, which advises pupils to wrap a critique inside two sentences that are compliments.

This way, the person on the receiving end does not get angry. Soon, the conversation shifted to workplace motivation that will encourage the employees to work harder.

James Austin Johnson suggests "s*xual threats" as a powerful tool, even though it might be wrong. As for Kenan Thompson, his entire focus has not shifted since he heard the word sandwich and keeps coming back to it.


Will and Todd's Radical Experience

Bill and Ted style time travel comedy rolled out next on the Saturday Night Live segment. The two kids seem to be thanking the most notable figures from history, such as Queen Elizabeth, Leonardo Da Vinci, etcetera.

When the time to go back to their timelines comes, Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass say that they are not going because they love the current generation, where people of color are being paid for their work and live with free will.
