The deadly games are finally back. Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Squid Game Season 3, and things look more dangerous than ever. Netflix's Korean-language series, which became a Global sensation is created by Hwang Dong-hyuk and will return with the third and final season on June 27, 2025.

After the jaw-dropping Season 2 finale, fans have been eagerly waiting for news on Squid Game Season 3. All six episodes will be dropped simultaneously on Netflix.

In addition to the usual body count and deadly children's games, the final moments of the teaser feature a baby crying just before the screen blacks out. In Season 2, Kim Jun-hee, aka Player 222, was pregnant and she will likely give birth in the upcoming chapter.

With the stakes already so high, having a baby inside the games would be deadly and require the players to face new challenges. Fans are already excited about the upcoming season, and the final moments of the teaser have them worried about Jun-hee's baby.

More on Squid Game Season 3 teaser reactions in our story.

Fans are worried about the baby in the Squid Game Season 3 official teaser

In the Squid Game Season 2 finale, Gi-hun finally saw his plan in motion as he prepared his army for a deadly player revolt. While most of his allies managed to survive, the Front Man executed his best friend Park Jung-bae.

Jun-hee's pregnancy was one of the plotlines throughout Season 2, and it was revealed that the father of the baby is also involved in the games. She was once in a relationship with Lee Myung-gi (Player 333) but the couple eventually parted ways.

The Season 3 teaser suggests Jun-hee will give birth inside the games. As she was already a fan favorite character, people are worried about her baby in the final chapter. The YouTube comment section is filled with worried fans about Jun-hee's baby, as nobody is safe in the show's universe.

Stakes are already high this season and the emotionally charged teaser suggests Squid Game Season 3 will be an emotional ride. In addition to Jun-hee's baby, the trailer also showed the mother-son duo (Guem-ja and Yong-sik) choosing different colored balls, which means they will likely play against each other. @kyrokyro9564 commented:

''That baby cry...that just sent chills down my spine.''

Looks like Jun-hee's baby already has many as @AxylAllan is also rooting for Jun-hee and her baby in Squid Game Season 3:

''OMG the baby crying at the end, Jun hee birthed, Jun hee was also crying in the game...''

While everyone on YouTube seems concerned about the baby, Reddit user u/LOTRcrr had a unique theory for the final chapter. Since Myung-gi is also still alive in the game, fans think the final chapter will likely show his redemption arc as he will choose Jun-hee and his baby over money:

''I've been saying her and MG Coin are the proof that redemption is possible. he's going to choose her and the baby over money and prove Gi-hun's ideals right.''

While we have seen people do much worse in the games for money, this would certainly be a first. The Squid Game Season 3 teaser clearly suggests that the final ride will be an emotional one.
