Schitt's Creek, the Canadian sitcom, aired on CBC Television for six seasons from 2015 to 2020. It followed the Rose family, who were extremely wealthy, but went through a financial crisis, leading to them losing everything from property to money. The only asset they had was a town called Schitt's Creek, and the family moved into the town's barely surviving motel.The family consisted of parents Johny and Moira Rose, and their grown-up children, Alexis and David Rose. The show followed the ups and downs of the family as they adjusted to a new life. Throughout the run of the show, David and Alexis dated a few people, and David got married to Patrick at the end of the show. Alexis, on the other hand, did not exactly end up with anyone.Who does Alexis end up with in Schitt's Creek?The first time we meet Alexis (played by Annie Murphy), she has just lost the life of a socialite, who had never had to worry about money or had to face a bad time. She is evidently spoiled and gets a reality check along with the rest of the family as they adapt to their new life. One of the very first connections Alexis makes in Schitt's Creek is with Mutt Schitt. They had a brief relationship and later became friends. Ted fell in love fast and proposed to Alexis soon, but she didn't know if she was going to stay in Schitt's Creek long-term, and thus was hesitant about accepting the proposal. Eventually, even though Alexis did stay in the town long-term, she broke things off with Ted, and they decided to be friends.Alexis even worked at Ted's clinic later on, and in Season 4, they rekindled their relationship when they realised they both loved each other. Ted and Alexis had one of the most realistic and healthy relationships on the show, as they grew as individuals together. However, Ted's career took him to the Galapagos Islands, and the couple then had to do long-distance. They had also decided that Alexis would eventually move to the Galapagos to be with Ted.But Alexis was also building her career, her PR company, Alexis Rose Communications. Thus, a long-distance relationship wasn't working out too well for them. While they loved each other deeply, neither wanted the other to sacrifice their career for the sake of the relationship. At the end of the show, in Season 6, Ted came to Schitt's Creek to surprise Alexis, and they had a lovely date. But they both admitted how the relationship wasn't working and ended it amicably. Ted went back to Galapagos, and Alexis was set to move to New York to pursue her career.
