In Late Night with Seth Meyers, the host corrected Donald Trump's praise of Elon Musk's new inventions and said,

"During a recent White House science summit, President Trump praised Elon Musk and said, quote, quite honestly, there's nobody like him, before adding, wait, I read that wrong. Nobody likes him."

Trump said that SpaceX had freed NASA from depending on other countries to send astronauts into space and congratulated the company on bringing Crew-12 safely back from the International Space Station. As per ANI News, Trump said,

"SpaceX saved NASA from relying on foreign nations to send our astronauts into space, and I want to congratulate SpaceX on the safe return of Crew-12 from the International Space Station just a few hours ago."

Donald Trump praised Musk for founding Tesla and described the company as the first successful new car organization in more than 70 years. He credited Tesla for making electric cars that people can afford and for developing self-driving technology for everyday use.

Why did Seth Meyers make such remarks on the president?

Seth Meyers' sarcastic jokes about the president were normal because he generally made those kinds of remarks to highlight late-night political comedy. He changed Trump's words from 'there's nobody like him' to 'nobody likes him,' and it helped him mock both Trump and Musk at the same time.

Meyers roasted both to highlight policy and management failures. Musk's controversial government efficiency cuts and chaotic decisions often caused public backlash, and Meyers connected this to the idea that 'nobody likes him.' The joke was not meant as a real correction but as a comic device to expose the irony of Trump praising someone with whom he had a volatile and transactional relationship.
