Shark Tank investor Mark Cuban has officially left the show as season 16 marked its finale on May 16, 2025. The panelist has been a part of the series for more than a decade, and this truly marks the end of the era.

Opening up about his decision to quit, Mark said that he is sure to let go, but also knows that he will miss the cast and crew of Shark Tank dearly. Being a part of the same for so many years, he feels like family.

Citing his family as the reason to quit, Mark says that he wants to focus on his kids now that they are all getting older. He feels as if they might leave the nest soon and thus wants to have as much time with them as possible.

Another fact is that apart from filming the show, which he describes as an easy bit, he has to invest a lot of time in the companies he has made a deal. He feels like it is his responsibility as an investor because that is someone's dream he is a part of. And now that he has his priorities set, Mark does not want to invest anymore.

He has opened his own new venture called Cost Plus Drugs, which provides medicines and access to healthcare at a cheaper rate in America. Mark says this also takes up a chunk of his time, as he is hoping to help the community and give back through the project.

What will Shark Tank investors miss the most about Mark?

The rest of the cast came together and shot a video on Instagram where each reminisced about what they are going to miss about Shark Tank investor Mark Cuban. Here is what they had to say.

Barbara expressed,

"What I'm sorely gonna miss about Mark Cuban is who will do my math? Who will do my math? I'm gonna be afraid to make any offer, and make sure my figures are right. We've got to get somebody who's going to do the math."

Daymond said,

"One thing I'm gonna miss about Mark is that whenever we're all on set and they start handing out food, well, he's dairy intolerant, but somehow he forgets it, and he will eat like a tub of ice cream and look at me... And I miss how he runs after the pitch. And I'm talking about screeching tires, burning to the bathroom, and then we don't see him for about 20 minutes."

Kevin expressed,

"What I'm really gonna miss about Mark is how he rips the flesh off anybody who comes with health claims. He just doesn't believe any of it. If it's not scientifically backed, rips into pieces. I like watching people get ripped to pieces. I'm gonna miss that."

In the end, Mark and Robert talk with each other, where the former says he will miss the people. However, Robert claims that he will never really be gone because he has invested in a lot of deals, and thus, there will be updates on each of those. Mark agrees and says that Shark Tank is going to bring him back all the time.
