Netflix's hit sci-fi mystery drama Stranger Things Season 5 is gearing up for its premiere.
Ahead of its release, the cast is busy with promotional events and interviews. In one such interview with IMDb, here's how the cast reacted to some fan questions. The first fan question read, 'How awesome is Winona Ryder?' to which Natalia Dyer responded, saying:
"She's funny."
While Charlie Heaton, who plays Ryder's onscreen elder son Jonathan Byers, added,
"Super generous and actually an amazing gift giver. She gives the best gifts. And it's really thought about from the heart. Terrible texter, amazing gift giver"
Turns out the cast agrees that Winona Ryder is really an amazing gift-giver, and Noah Schapp shares a sweet instance. He narrated a story about how she gifted him a Cher concert T-shirt after they bonded over the Goddess of Pop.
Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays the role of the antagonist Vecna, added,
"Winona Ryder is awesome. She's amazing. On a scale of 1 to 10, brilliant, it's fabulous."
Here's more about the Stranger Things Season 5 cast and how they reacted to the fan queries.
Stranger Things Season 5 cast reveals what they kept from the sets
Actors usually keep something from the sets, be it a prop or a costume, mostly as mementos. Something the production even gifts it to them. For instance, Daniel Radcliffe took the Harry Potter glasses, while Maisie Williams has kept Arya Stark's leather jacket from the Game of Thrones sets. When the cast of Stranger Things Season 5 was asked about what they took from the sets, here's what they revealed.
While answering the fan question in a fun segment with IMDb, Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, revealed that she kept her pink dress and socks, and a GAP t-shirt from the fictional Starcourt Mall in Season 3. She also added that she took a dress from Season 5, too, but kept the other details of the dress a secret.
However, Noah Schapp shared that he couldn't get any significant items even though he asked for his Season 1 costume. However, he did take a few props, mostly things from Will Byer's bedroom.
Maya Hawke, who plays Robin Buckley, told IMDb that she took one little thing from each workplace where Robin and Steve worked together. Here's a little guess, must be something significant from the fictional Starcourt Mall's Scoops Ahoy, and the local Family Video rental store of Hawkins.
Natalia Dyer adds that she kept Tom Cruise's wallpaper from Nancy's room. While Charlie Heaton kept his original blue jacket that we saw in Season 1.
Joey Keery, who plays the fan favorite character, Steve Harrington, reveals,
"I got clothes. I got shoes. I got a bat. I got a bunch of stuff."
And guess what Bower has kept. Speaking to IMDb, he revealed that he kept Vecna's hand from Stranger Things Season 4. He further notes,
"I have my chair back, which says Henry Creek on it. You know, like those director's chairs. And I have a belt which you will see this season."
Stranger Things Season 5 needs to address a bunch of questions, including the truth about Upside Down and Will's connection to Vecna, among others.
In an interview with Collider, while discussing the run time of the episodes, the Duffer brothers reveal that the finale episode will be the longest, and it will be about two hours long.
