"She did the same thing": Celebrity Family Feud host Steve Harvey recalls Kandi Burruss' previous performance

The latest Celebrity Family Feud episode featured Kandi Burruss' team against the Richards family. For the Burruss-Tucker family, the teammates were Kandi Buruss, Patrick, Riley, DonJuan, and Kaela.

After they won, the team advanced to the Fast Money challenge. Kandi played the first round of the challenge and earned 178 points, while DonJuan played the next round. With 22 points needed to win $25,000, his first two answers won them the prize money.

When Kandi earned such a high score, she recalled how she did the same the last time she was there on Celebrity Family Feud. Recalling the last time she was there on the show, Steve Harvey mentioned:

"You know what, the first time she was here, she did the same thing. She did the same thing."

Celebrity Family Feud Season 11 Episode 5: Kandi Burruss' team won the Fast Money challenge

The latest Celebrity Family Feud Season 11 episode aired on August 7, 2025. Episode 5 saw two battles among four teams:

1. Kyle Richards vs. Kandi Burruss-Tucker
2. NFL Offense vs. NFLPA Defense

During Richards and Buruss-Tucker's battle, fans saw Kandi Burruss's team winning the round. Later, their team advanced to play the Fast Money challenge.

"The Burruss-Tucker family won the game. And now it's time to play Fast Money," announced the host.

Kandi's team had Patrick, Riley, DonJuan, and Kaela. One of her teammates, DonJuan, was sent off-stage, as he would join them after she answered the questions.

For the challenge, she was given 20 seconds, in which she had to answer five questions.

The questions were:

• Name an activity a snowman and his snow babe might do in the snow.
• How many bites does it take to eat a donut?
• Name something you expect a hotel bathroom to have?
• Name a color on the Mexican flag.
• Give me a word that rhymes with dimple.

Her answers were: Throw snowballs, Five, Towels, Green, Pimple,

For each of her answers, Celebrity Family Feud host Steve Harvey revealed the scores:

• Throw snowballs: 17 Points,
• Five: 25 Points,
• Towels: 29 Points,
• Green: 46 Points,
• Pimple: 61 Points.

Her total was 178 points. Seeing the points she earned for her team, she said she did the "same" the last time she was on the show.

"You sure did," agreed Steve Harvey.

Soon, her teammate DonJuan was called from backstage. Seeing how Kandi scored quite high, Steve told Don:

"Now, Don, I've been around Kandi and her people and y'all for a long time. I'm gonna tell you how many points she got. If you don't win this money, don't... don't go over there."

Listening to show host, everyone burst into laughter, and Don said, "Okay." Steve mentioned Kandi earned 178 points and that he needed 22 points to win. With 25 seconds on the clock, the host asked DonJuan the same questions.

His answers were: Roll, Six, Soap, Red, Simple.

For his answers, his points were:

• Roll: 7 Points,
• Six: 20 Points.

With his first two answers, the team's total score was 205 and resulted in a win. His teammates joined them as they celebrated their win.

Later, the remaining answers and their points were also revealed:

• Soap: 39 Points,
• Red: 39 Points,
• Simple: 34 Points.

With that, Kandi's team's total was 317 points. Their prize pot $25,000 would go to Kandi Cares.
