Bravo released a sneak peek for the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 Episode 20 on July 26, 2025. It featured cast members, including Porsha and Shamea, getting into arguments at the reunion.
The video clip featured the discussion, including how the feud between the two started back with their mother's businesses. Shamea didn't want to discuss the initial reason why the feud started between their mothers.
Later, Porsha stated how she and Shamea had a "beautiful" relationship before the show. However, things have not been the same between them since the Real Housewives of Atlanta filming started.
"We had a beautiful relationship prior to this show. Once we started filming, she took it to the left."
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 Episode 20: Reunion sneak peek involving the argument between Porsha and Shamea
The sneak peek featured Andy mentioning how Porsha shared a birthday post for Shamea. While she said it was "sweet," Porsha mentioned how Shamea continued her "smear campaign" right after that. However, the latter denied doing so.
Porsha asked why Shamea was fighting with her. In return, Shamea also asked the same question, to which Porsha responded, it was because she was lying.
"And you don't think you'd been lying?" asked Shamea.
Porsha asked what she had lied about. To that, Shamea recalled Porsha posting about her mom doing something "egregious" to her mom.
She asked why Porsha brought up her mom:
"And anytime people ask me about your mom, I say, that's not my business," added Shamea.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 reunion host Andy asked about the incident involving their mothers. Porsha mentioned how both their mothers were best friends and were in the childcare industry.
"They both, you know, gave tips to each other back and forth. My mom found her location was going into foreclosure, and her mom went behind my mom's back and she bought it as soon as it went on foreclosure," shared Porsha.
However, Shamea said that was not what had happened. She mentioned that there was "other stuff" which she didn't want to talk about.
When Andy asked what happened initially between their moms, Shamea said:
"I don't want to speak on it, 'cause, then it's really going to go left. OK that mom stuff is deep-rooted. It did not just start with a daycare purchase."
Andy said he was not going to ask about it, while fellow cast members stated the "mom thing" should not have been brought up in the reunion discussion.
Further, Andy mentioned how there was "chatter" about things that happened behind each other's backs. As Porsha said, she didn't talk behind Shamea's back; she responded that it was with Brit. In response, Porsha said it was Brit who came to her to share what Shamea had said.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha recalled how her and Shamea's relationship before the show was beautiful. However, she added that after the filming, Shamea took their relationship to the "left."
Responding sarcastically, Shamea said it was "all her" and that it was she who "took it to the left."
