As explained before, episodes 21 and 22 of Shine on Me are arriving today, January 1, 2026 on streaming platforms around 6 am ET. The C-drama can be enjoyed through Netflix, Viki, Tencent Video, iQIYI and WeTV.

What happened in Shine on Me episode 20: A quick recap
Episode 20 begins with Kevin (Zhuang Xu's colleague) getting into an accident on the mountain, which injured his brain. Since Lin Yusen was present, he offered help and suggested to immediately take Kevin to the nearest hospital.
They rushed, and while on the way, Lin Yusen called his mother and explained to her the situation. He even texted Xiguang, unaware that the network is weak, so a essgae won't reach on time.
At the hospital, the doctor is thrilled to meet a talented neurosurgeon, but feels sad to learn about his hand injury. However, they encourage Lin Yusen and ask for his assistance in the surgery.
Lin Yusen helps and the surgery is completed successfully. Lin Yusen later gets a call from a head of his previous workplace, telling Yusen that the offer to return is still valid. But since he won't be able to perform surgeries, Lin Yusen doesn't promise to come back.
Meanwhile, Xiguang and her cousin were waiting for Lin Yusen for the hotpot treat. After waiting for a while, he learn that someone had been injured and taken to the hospital. Xiguang even noticed Lin Yusen's ski boards, so she belived that he's the one injured.
She and her cousin rush to see him at the hospital, and Nei Xiguang finally sees him. She realizes that Lin Yusen was helping as a doctor,r and it was Kevin who got injured. Later, she yells at him for not contacting her.
Since Xiguang didn't get the message, she thought Lin Yusen didn't care to even leave a text message. She cancels the hotpot treat and goes back to her stay. Lin Yusen tries calling her, but Xiguang ignores his call.
