What happened in Shine on Me episodes 27-28: A quick recap
Episode 27 of Shine on Me opens with the first kiss between Lin Yusen and Nei Xiguang. They weren't really enjoying the banquet and had already stolen the spotlight from Yusen's cousin, so they went out for some fresh air.
Lin Yusen also revealed that once Shengyuan is out of the woods, he will return to medicine. Though he cannot be a doctor, he can do something related, and he's already interested in a research project.
Lin Yusen also took Xiguang to his home, where they looked at his old pictures. Xiguang then asks him to share his journey and he finally reveals how hard it was to become a doctor and then the accident took it all away. Xiguang comforts him and stays by his side.
Episode 29 of the C-drama deepens their bond, and Lin Yusen and Nei Xiguang also make sure to host their mystery guests at the inauguration of the company's new garden and phase 11 cafeteria.
Interestingly, the mystery guests turned out to be Xiguang's mother and her aunt. Xiguang and Lin Yusen host the guests, and later she drops her off at home. As the episode closes, Xiguang's father shows up at his ex-wife's house, and they argue over the share transfer and money for Xiguang.

Episode 29 will focus on Xiguang and her mother's conversation as she tries to give her a life lesson and also express her thoughts on relationships. Since Xiguang's father is making things complicated, her mother is trying her best to transfer her shares.
At the same time, Lin Yusen and Xiguang also get to enjoy a passionate moment after work. Episode 30 will feature Zhuang Xu apologizing for his actions and always misunderstanding her.
He calls Xiguang unfair and even tries to force her. However, Nei Xiguang makes it clear that she has a boyfriend now and that Zhuang Xu never really tried to understand her feelings. She has moved on, and so should Zhuang Xu.
