Exploring the storyline of Silent Truth
Silent Truth revolves around Junichi, who is the main character played by Takeuchi Ryoma. Junichi is a detective who has been assigned a murder case. The case also involves his childhood love, Iwamoto Makiko, a character played by Mao Inoue. However, Makiko is a suspect in the case.
During the investigation, he learns that the gun used in the murder and the gun he hid in his school days are the same. Since Makiko is also involved in the case, she becomes the prime suspect, as only she and his other two friends knew about it.
Later in the story, the lead character will try to find out the truth behind the murder and how the same gun appeared during the murder and, in case someone took it out, who it could be.
Speaking of the series, Takeuchi told viewers, in a reported statement by Mantan Web:
"I hope that the reunion of us classmates will connect with the nostalgic feelings deep in your hearts, the emotions that cannot be expressed in words. Please watch to see the characters struggle with their own weaknesses."
Speaking of meeting Mao Inoue for the first time, he reportedly added:
"I like communicating with the people around me, so I can intuitively tell who it's okay to get closer to even if it's our first time meeting, and who it's not. When I first met Inoue, I had the intuition that 'Oh, maybe it's okay. He might be a kind person!' and I was happy."
Viewers have to wait for two more weeks before the series releases its first episode on streaming platforms.
