The upcoming episode can be expected to find the vault in a power vacuum quagmire. Inside the vault, the rising rebellion is spearheaded by the people from the Mechanical level as Knox and Shirley's return to the Mechanical level has given the rebellion the leaders it needs. In the absence of Judge Meadows communicating with them, a disaster seems to be on the cards.
On the other hand, although Bernard has appointed Sims as the new Judge, he doesn't make him his shadow, thereby providing a vote of no confidence in the latter. This could be a potential conflict in the upcoming episode.
