Sirens Episode 3, titled Monster, starring Milly Alcock, Meghann Fahy, and Julianne Moore, rolled out on May 22, 2025, with the rest of the series on Netflix.

Created by Molly Smith Metzler, this limited dramedy series bagged four Emmy nominations. The series has already garnered a 75% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes and 6.7 stars out of 10 on IMDb.

Set in a luxurious beachfront property, it follows Simone Dewitt, a young woman who's hired to work for the celebrity lawyer Michaela Kiki Kell. However, things take a wild turn as she gets entangled in family secrets, manipulation, and a relationship with billionaire Ethan.

In episodes 1 and 2, we learn that Simone's sister Devon is battling alcoholism, and Kiki might be hiding more than she lets on. Sirens is all about control, power, and class.

By the end of Sirens Episode 3, the glossy illusion of island serenity is all but shattered. People are missing. People are lying, and one unhinged proposal messes everything up.

Sirens Episode 3: Simone is spiralling, Peter goes quahogging, and Ethan's missing

Simone wakes from a nightmare as Devon comforts her with comforting words,

"Hey, hey, it's a dream. You're dreaming. Just a nightmare. You're okay. I'm here."

However, the sisters get into a nasty argument, which ends with Devon finally confessing that she's got a second DUI. On the other hand, Kiki pretends to comfort Simone but pokes at her insecurities just enough to stay in control.

In Sirens Episode 3, when Simone confesses about her relationship with Ethan to Kiki, she warns him about his shaky financial conditions. Kiki then asks her about her mother's death, which leaves Simone stunned as she replies,

"She didn't die in a car accident, but she did die in a car. She ran a tube from the exhaust pipe to the front seat and killed herself. I was in the back seat and she told me to color in my coloring book until I fell asleep. Devon she found us pulled me and rushed me to the hospital"

Micahela, aka Kiki, however, assured her and said,

"Honey, nothing about that is okay. I'm gonna take care of you. Nothing but kindness, nothing but goodness from now on."

Meanwhile, Simone begins to follow Peter after Kiki sends her to find out where he was last weekend. Later, Peter catches Simone spying on him and asks her to go quahogging with her, and shares a heart-to-heart confession. Peter tells her that she went to meet his son and grandson after ten years. Later, Peter kisses Simone. Simone bolts, and she's quite shaken. She calls Ethan. No answer. He's vanished.

Meanwhile, Devon begins to lose her footing. She's added to the guest list for an elite gala and whisked off for a makeover by Michaela's friends.

Michaela pulls strings- and tries to fire Jose

Michaela has more control than anyone realizes. She tries to fire Jose after accusing him of hiding Peter's digital whereabouts. However, Jose tells her upfront that she can't fire him because he works for Peter. She confronts Peter about his fake Japan trip, accuses him of infidelity, and then talks to her lawyer to strategize the divorce and find a way out of the prenup clauses.

At the same time, she emotionally manipulates everyone-telling Devon they share the same grief story. Michaela, aka Kiki, tells her,

"I see you. How special you are. I can help you. We share the same pain. You, me, and Simone. We're birds of a feather."

She sends her to have some fun (a shopping trip with Kiki's cult like friends) and then isolates Simone by playing innocent about Ethan's disappearance.

Simone gathers everyone at Ethan's house to investigate. Michaela's voice blasts over the intercom. It's chilling. Simone ignores her call, but the moment feels like surveillance.

Sirens Episode 3 recap: Ethan proposes to Simone

In Sirens Episode 3, just as paranoia speaks, Ethan walks in- with Simone's estranged father in tow. The explanation? A dead phone battery and an improptu trip to New York. It's hard to belive, but what follows is worse.

Ethan drops to one knee and proposes to Simone. Everyone is stunned. The timing, the theatrics, the forced reunion-it's all wrong. And Simone's face says it all. This isn't love. This is a power play.

Peter warned her. Ethan is like a summer lover who vanishes by fall. And yet here he is, offering forever.

At the end of the Sirens Episode 3, Micahela remains the queen-watching, calculating, and always ten steps ahead. And Simone? She might be the pawn being dragged into checkmate.
