Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 1 Recap: Robyn and Cody discuss polygamy, monogamy, and more during their date

Recently released Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 1 featured Kody Brown admitting to his multiple failed relationships, and that they felt like the "walk of shame." He was referring to his relationships with Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown.

Referring to her relationship with Kody, Robyn confessed to the cameras:

"There's been some conversations about that from family, some pressure a little bit too. You know, are you going to live plural marriage again and bring somebody else into the family?"

Sharing more about that, Robyn stated that it was a "personal" topic for her and that she wasn't sure what might happen.

To discuss the fate of their relationship, Kody and Robyn went out on a date. However, before their date, she confessed that she didn't know what she wanted to tell Kody on the topic.

"I wasn't quite sure what to say to him," confessed Robyn.

In her private confession, Sister Wives star Robyn shared that Kody didn't choose to live in monogamy. She added that she would have never chosen something like that for herself.

"I could have lived monogamy just fine. Different men at different times said, you know, I'd marry you in a heartbeat...and I was like, Well, I plan to live a plural marriage," said Robyn.

During their dinner date, Sister Wives star Kody asked her what she would have done if he had been single at the time their relationship began. For that, Robyn's answer was the same as ever. She noted that she wouldn't have been open to him.

When Kody talked about his "primary motivation," which was how good-looking she was, Robyn laughed. However, Kody noted that he was serious about that. While Robyn thought Kody bringing up the physical intimacy was him being a "bit of a pig," he felt it was an essential point.

"I'm being crass here for a reason. I'm saying, Yeah, she looks hot. And that would make me want to talk to her, but I'm not interested in marrying her because that won't matter when I'm getting nagged," confessed Kody.

Sister Wives star Robyn shared her concerns over Kody's side of maintaining monogamy. She stated that Kody had been "this surplus" of intimate relationships. There was a fear that he didn't know what to expect in a monogamous relationship.

Kody and Robyn further talked about "ending" their marriage and how they had their "bad days." The two also discussed their "murder faces" coming out while Kody referred to his ex-wives as "sister witches." He said that the idea of polygamy "breaks" his heart.

Later, when Kody asked Robyn about them being in a monogamy the two agreed upon that and made a "deal."
