SkyMed Season 4 has added four new cast members to its ensemble: Find out who

SkyMed is all set to soar high with new faces joining the ensemble cast for Season 4. Four new regular cast members will be joining the Paramount+ hit medical drama series. Leishe Meyboom, Alexander Eling, Shawn Ahmed, and Cecilia Lee will be joining as series regulars. Lauren Lee Smith will also appear in the series in a recurring role. The production for the upcoming season of the Canadian air rescue procedural drama is currently underway.

SkyMed explores stories of medical professionals and air ambulance pilots as they navigate through extreme rescue services all the while tackling personal and professional life challenges.

The series, created by Julie Puckrin, known for Killjoys, is inspired by her own sister and brother-in-law, who met while they were working for an air ambulance services. The medical drama series is produced by Piazza Entertainment in association with CBS Studios and Paramount+ in Canada.

SkyMed Season 4 will have new cast members

SkyMed revolves around the challenging air ambulance services across Northern Canada, complete with emotional and thrilling moments. The young medical professionals and pilots are the heart of the story, as they take on some unforeseen challenges.

Season 4 of the series was renewed recently and will comprise eight episodes. The upcoming season will see the team welcoming new pilots and nurses. With more dangerous rescues in the horizon and new dynamics to explore, the season is expected to bring forth some intense drama.

Ahmed, known for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, will be playing the role of Flight Nurse Zay Patel. Meyboom, who previously appeared as Abby in the hit Netflix show Locke and Key, will be portraying Flight Nurse Piper Adler. Eling, known for Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, will be taking on the role of First Officer Wyatt Ellis and Lee, known for Fear Street: Prom Queen, will portray the role of Maya Yang, a hardworking pilot. Smith, who has appeared in Frankie Drake Mysteries, will play the role of Captain Riley in her recurring role.

SkyMed Season 4 also stars Natasha Callis as Nurse Hayley Roberts, Morgan Holmstrom as Crystal Highway, Aaron Ashmore as William "Wheezer" Heaseman, Mercedes Morris as Lexi Martine and Sydney Kuhne as Stef.
