Paramount+ has greenlit SkyMed Season 4. The Canadian medical procedural, which debuted in July 2022, has finally been renewed for the next season.
SkyMed follows the lives of young medics, nurses, and pilots, working for an air-ambulance service. Season 3 concluded in March 2025, and the network has renewed the show for a new season.
SkyMed Season 4 will begin production in late summer. The show will be exclusively available to stream on Paramount+ in the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Latin America and Brazil, Switzerland, and Austria.
The medical series is created by Julie Puckrin, who was inspired by her sister and brother-in-law's love story, as the couple met while flying air ambulances. The show is executive produced by Puckrin, Gillian Hormel, and Vanessa Piazza.
While some cast members are confirmed to return for the upcoming season, the show has yet to announce the additional casting.

Skymed Season 4: Everything to know about the medical procedural
The official synopsis for SkyMed reads as follows:
“The triumphs and tribulations of young medics and pilots who fly air ambulances across the remote skies of Northern Canada, weaving together intense journeys with jaw-dropping medical rescues 20,000 feet in the air in the most remote conditions.''
SkyMed Season 4 will pick up right from the events of Season 3 and will follow the lives of the main characters, who are young medical staff, nurses, and Pilots, performing dangerous medical procedures in the air in remote northern Manitoba.
The show was hailed for its use of practical effects, and its regular use of actual aircraft was also appreciated, rather than green-screen technology.
Who will return in SkyMed Season 4?
The main cast of the show confirmed to return for season 4 includes Natasha Callis as Nurse Hayley Roberts. She was a newcomer to Manitoba, who left her life in Toronto behind and started working with the other cast members in the air ambulance service.
Morgan Holmstrom will also return as Mama Bear, Crystal Highway, who is the soul of SkyMed and takes care of all the nurses in the department.
Aaron Rushmore will also join the returning cast in SkyMed Season 4 as veteran Pilot William "Wheezer" Heaseman, who is more comfortable delivering injured patients than cargo. He will continue to aid the SkyMed crew in the upcoming chapter.
Mercedes Morris will also join the cast as the rookie Pilot Lexi Martine, who still has a lot to learn from her head Pilot and must make difficult choices in the upcoming season.
Lastly, Sydney Kuhne will also return as Stef, Lexi's girlfriend and a paramedic.
While these five cast members are confirmed to return for SkyMed Season 4, the show also includes additional cast members, including Thomas Elms, Kheon Clarke, Aaso, Anthony Grant, Emilia McCarthy, and many more.
News about the additional cast is yet to be revealed for the upcoming season.
