Smoke Episode 7 will be the next chapter in the crime drama show by Apple TV+. Created by Dennis Lehane, Smoke has been getting positive reviews for its unique premise and stellar performances. The show premiered on the streaming platform on June 27, 2025, and releases one episode per week.

The story follows Dave Gudsen (Taron Egerton), who is an arson investigator and a former firefighter with the Umberland Fire Department. In the show’s last episode, Dave was being framed as the antagonist by Michelle and her team, even though Dave is the one who had to independently solve the case and catch Freddie as the culprit.

Episode 7 will be power-packed as it will continue the story of Michelle and her mother and what past traumas she had, as well as the repercussions of Dave finding out that Freddy was the arsonist.

Smoke Episode 7 will release on August 1, 2025, on Apple TV+, and the title of the episode is “Whitewashed Tombs”. The story has been written by Steven Hanna and Adriane McCray, and the teleplay is by Dennis Lehane and Molly Miller. The show releases its episodes weekly, and Smoke Episode 7 will release on Friday. Viewers will need to have an active subscription to Apple TV+ to watch Episode 7 as it releases on August 1, 2025, Friday.

The show consists of nine episodes, and the 8th and 9th episodes will be released on August 8, 2025, and August 15, 2025.

Apart from Taron Egerton and Jurnee Smollett, other cast members of the show include Rafe Spall, who plays Captain Steven Burke, the superior with whom Michelle has an affair. It also features Ntare Guma Mbaho as Freddie Fasano, who works at the Coop’s Fried Chicken in the Trolley Town neighborhood and is a suspected arsonist.
