"So happy": 1000-Lb Sisters' Amy Slaton spends more time with her kids following her arrest

1000-Lb Sisters Season 7 star Amy Slaton shared an Instagram post on May 10, 2025, sharing a picture of her kids. She posted pictures showing his two sons, sitting in the back of her car, as they all were headed to get their favorite breakfast.

In the light of recent events, Amy has been under a lot of stress since her arrest. 1000-Lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 4 revealed Amy sharing about her arrest following the camel bite at the zoo.

After the incident that took place in September 2024 and featured in the recent TLC episode, Amy was emotional. She has been concerned about her kids' custody since her arrest. Hence, she has been spending more time with her sons.

For her recent Instagram post, the female cast member captioned it with the following:

"There so happy to go get there favorite breakfast food ham and cheese croissant."

After Amy and her boyfriend Brian Scott Lovvorn's arrest, featured on 1000-Lb Sisters Season 7's fourth episide, Amy has been emotional. After spending the night in the jail, her brother bailed her out the next day. Since then she has been busy preparing for the trial.

Amy has been worried about the custody of her kids. For the fans who might not know, she has two sons: Gage, 4, and Glenn, 2. She shares them with her ex-husband, Michael Halterman.

Throughout her weight loss journey and following up with her pregnancy and postpartum, Amy has been by her kids' side ever since. When she got arrested, she was not with her sons, which gave her a scare.

Despite her believing that she did not do anything to endanger her kids, Amy was charged with child endangerment and possession of marijuana.

"Jail was very cold and lonely place. All you do is sleep, 'cause that's all there is to. There was a little mattress on the floor, that's all I got," said Amy in the fourth episode.

After such a scare and an intense situation regarding her kids' custody, the female cast member has been more careful about it. She has also been spending more time with her sons and taking them out every chance she gets. On top of that, recent Mother's Day might have been an indication as to why she shared a post about her sons.

Her social media, including Instagram, has various pictures of her kids since they were born. While Amy has been quite close to them, her family members have also been there for her. At the time of her arrest, 1000-Lb Sisters star called her older sister, Amanda, who came to get her kids at the zoo.
